before its release I was happy to pay 80 pound for the game and DLC thinking this would be the only game i buy until newyear. boy was i wrong i was ahardcore d1 player and last week bought assassins creed origins and haven't looked back since what a game!
I am so disappointed I wasted the money thinking this was going to take off where d1 ended...
Anyone else feel disappointed? will you go back to try the dlc?
or have you given up completely?

I have never been so wrong in all my life...

2 RepliesHavn't bought it yet but I'm going to soon.

4 RepliesPretty much how I feel tbh, I bought the deluxe digital version with the dlc’s as I spent many many hours on D1. The flaws of D1 sometimes annoyed me but the game had something about it that made me want to play. D2 has been a disappointment, the refinements to the core game which have addressed many balance / power issues in D1 have also been replaced with all new issues. There’s no incentive to play and I gave up a few weeks ago. Initially I’d only go online to help friends with the nightfall but now I can’t even be bothered with that. As I’ve already bought the DLC’s I feel I should at least complete them but honestly I’m questioning whether I can really be bothered

Yeah this game sucks. Words from a wise philosopher known as Dabest. The horses really appreciated it all. Last Tuesday was the final time the ponies saw Milkshake at the yard; he moved onto other yards to use his magical powers to help other horses. Thankfully, the ponies still saw their teacher (Milkshake) at cross-country horse events.

Oh I definetly regret buying the deluxe version.

1 ReplyBet your one of those muppets who line up for the newest iPhone. Its slaves to consumerism like you, that cause bungie to get away with selling any old rubbish.

I should have waited on purchasing D2. Are they going to do what they did to D1. Make it good until taken king. If they ever make a D3. I am done with this BS.

1 ReplyThis post sums up to the letter how I feel. I will invest and won't buy another game till 2018. Crucible ok 4's will grow on me...... No option to switch game modes? Ok it will be ok. I was wrong. The raid - the only reason I buy destiny games sucked so fcking badly. I hated it as soon as I found out you have to plant flags in each area just to open the door. No checkpoints? We can't just find a teams and load in? Now we find a team run another 10 minutes just to reach the point we left off at? The dogs...... Then gauntlet? Talk about imagination here. They fcked up so much of this game and hardly care for the DLC at this point. I haven't logged in for more than two weeks and went an bought zombies instead

I love everything about D1 and am in love with D2. I will be back for the DLC and can’t wait

I didn't play the original Destiny yet so far, I've been having a blast with this game. I normally only play MMORPGs yet apart from some annoyances (lack of local chat, certain missions lacking proper descriptions and having to figure out how to do most things on your own) it's okay. Direct console to PC conversion which stands out a mile needs improving along with the forum which is a complete mess. The initial story-line arc was a blast though the end mission was a bit of a let down (way too easy and something of an anti climax). More content is required in game yet that normally comes with time. Power leveling is okay (once you figure it out or google search for a how to) Strikes are fun Raid is challenging yet fun PvP is like most games - totally out of whack with cookie builds being the norm. What I'm hoping is the DLC will expand more on the story arc and be more in depth (and challenging). So disappointed and waste of money? No, not really.

Intending to return the game and drop a pre-order on Monster Hunter as soon as I get a day off from work this week to do so. I don't see the game improving based on the trend of constant "Fun" nerfs that Bungie keeps doing. It's sad but maybe ill be lucky in 2 or 3 expansions and buy a $40-50 goty version with fixed content like they did with D1 by the time TTK dropped.

Happy with my purchase. The game isn't perfect but it was a lot of fun and I look forward to the DLC and hope they being positive improvements to the game.

Hardly, I liked d2 so chances are I'll like the dlcs
-
Yes I do.

Lol someone didn’t learn from D1 mistakes. That’s why I’m waiting a few years and I’ll get the game and all expansions for like 30$.

I mean it hasn't come out yet so no
-
I knew it would be a bad game from the start so I bought the cheapest version.
-
I think I'll buy the DLC. I know a lot of players aren't happy with D2 but I've really enjoyed it.

9 RepliesEdited by Piggyback: 11/4/2017 2:44:18 PMPeople actually paid for the DLC before they knew what they were getting. Welp. Serves you right. And what have we learned? Absolutely nothing, I bet.
