Fps drops in public areas

Hi, I have a laptop with an i5 7300hq, gtx 1060 and 8gb of ram. Windows 10 latest version. The game runs so smooth when I’m doing missions or in the crucible. But when roaming in public areas such as the farm or Edz landing zone my fps drops to about 45-50. I’m running on medium settings but changing them won’t help. I get the same on low and high. Anyone else? Thanks!

  • I have the same problem. It probably has something to do with that memory leak issue. All we can do is wait for Bungie to fix the game.

    • GUYSS I FOUND A TEMPORARY FIX!! Spread this knowledge please! So it’s just the US servers that have the issue with loading the clan roster which then causes the stuttering. You Can simply switch to EU servers which is above the blue play button before you start the game. Then BOOM its fixed!! I was able to see my clan roster and add and play with people in the clan who are from Europe!! There was absolutely no stuttering At all! So that’s pretty much what the problem is, the US servers are glitched with the clan roster so it causes stuttering/memory leak issues. Please spread this in the help forums to help the people who have this issue. It’s better than quitting the game every hour. Also this is happening to some players regardless if they are in a clan or not. I’m sure Bungie will fix this soon
