1 Replyhttps://twitter.com/BungieHelp Destiny 2 on PC will receive Hotfix 1.0.5.1 tomorrow (10/30) at 10 AM PDT to remove the SSSE3 processor requirement YES YES YES YES YES

15 RepliesI do have to say that the way that Cozmo worded this is very odd. He knows that this doesn't even touch the game and yet he says manipulates... All this does is translates the ssse3 information to something given to the CPU

54 RepliesEdited by Cozmo: 10/26/2017 11:32:11 PMHey everyone. I want to let you know that using this tool to manipulate Destiny 2 WILL get you banned. We are currently working on a fix for Phenom II users and will be deploying it as soon as possible.

7 RepliesEdited by Lucky7: 10/28/2017 7:11:55 PMBeen searching for an answer for 3 days now, finally some hope. In every ssse3 crash post in the support page or on reddit there is dedicated people taking time out of their day to harass or shit on phenom users instead of ignoring the post or showing support... Bungie really should communicate to the hundreds if not thousands of players who is left in the dark about a coming fix or tell the phenom users to just get a refund. But the people shitting on other users should just go get cancer. Edit: Update on my situation I opened a refund ticket earlier today on blizzard asking for a update on information about ssse3 crash. And that if i wait for an official response, will they still honor a refund. I was just refunded my digital deluxe edition by blizzard noting: "Please keep in mind that all sales are considered final and any refund made is actually an exception and is not guaranteed." and "I am happy to say that I was able to send the order to get refunded as it was still currently available for a refund." @Shredfire posted a tweet https://twitter.com/ShockAndShaw/status/923431168514523137 which gives me more hope but i suggest get your money back first then wait for a fix as they might not honor a refund later on. As soon as they fix the game i will buy it again and try to make up for lost time. Edit 2: Good News Everyone https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/924091226650959872

25 RepliesEdited by Redtailblack: 10/26/2017 3:59:42 PMI guess this is a band-aid solution for having a 7(at minimum) year old CPU. It's emulation so I'm guessing you may get a lot of stuttering/performance issues the more you use it. (If this is allowed to be used.) The SSSE 3 issue is listed under "Emergent" problems on their known issues forum post, but they clearly state that this CPU is below minimum requirements and they are not required to provide support/workarounds for it. The beta may have ran well, but even checking the system requirements for the beta the Phenom II was still below minimum spec. They even clearly state on the requirements page for beta that requirements will likely change for the release version. Other games were able to patch this issue, so I'm hopeful Bungie can do the same. It sucks, and I hope they get this issue fixed as a lot of people seem to have the Phenom II CPU.

2 RepliesEdited by twitch.tv/thedoovle: 10/27/2017 6:26:17 AMI tried to warn you guys not to do it xD, There are 2 ways. modifying yourself(spoofing) and modifying "their" files(live memory/hex editing). (there are work arounds that do the same thing) Both are un-recommended as we do not know what constitutes as "third party" or against the "rules". It is a very dark space as you are allowed to own your computer and naming your hardware whatever you want. But modifying their files is a no no. As far as I know , I do not know what files bungie is entitled to place any rules on. So I recommend we all wait or get your money back.

Hahaha I knew that was coming. Should've stuck to consoles.

"Yes, you WILL get banned using Intel SDE to manipulate D2PC. There is a fix coming for PhenomII users." -Shawctober on Twitter https://twitter.com/ShockAndShaw/status/923705156549480448

20 Replies-sigh- ... I have a Phenom II and I bought the game from a retailer so I can't get my money back anyway. I would take the hit if it bans me. Can you explain to me how that emulator thing works?
-
Take my upvote. if they don't fix it soon my friend will give it a try.

1 ReplyEdited by Toeleo: 10/26/2017 7:39:21 PMI'm not sure why you would title this with "THIS WORKS" and then go on to say "it may not work". Either way I wouldn't risk this with all the banning going on. EDIT: My apologies, I did not see that someone got it to work. Definitely not a permanent solution. Hopeful an actual fix comes in soon.

Edited by meatballsublime: 10/26/2017 7:37:08 PMBump for visibility. In the meantime, definitely do NOT try the emulator without a direct response from Cozmo, Deej, or a BngHelp account. Seems like it will likely get you a ban. Smart idea though, by the way.
