HOW BUNGIE COULD LOSE OUT ON 43 PLAYERS
Like most of you I played Destiny 1 when it first came out and right up until the last DLC where I finished my long campaign. I primarily play on PC and I've been building custom rigs since DOS days so it was nice to hear that I could continue my journey into Destiny 2 on PC. I was so hyped but still cautious about what lied ahead and now my eyes look upon the stars tonight in the great white north.
THE HEART-BREAKING MESSAGE
My name is Patho and I'm here to unleash hell and fury upon Bungie and Vicarious Visions for the lack of communication over the past two months. Every day since the Beta I have been searching and digging for news in response to the PC version of the game. I'm not impressed because for the last two months nothing was brought forward to the PC Community for Destiny 2. I'm personally going to hold you accountable for the lackluster response and it begins right here and right now.
First, the majority of the PC community who are actually PC Gamers would never approve of Aim Assist in any FPS game. Do you honestly think Esports would allow Destiny 2 be allowed? No. They would have you remove it from the game. You might want to listen up because this issue is only going to burn you Bungie and players like myself will leave this game behind if it's not removed. If you think words will make things better, it won't work with me and the 43 others that are going to walk away if this issue doesn't get resolved.
HOW ONE TWEET CHANGED 43 PC PLAYERS PERSPECTIVES OF DESTINY 2
"Shawctober @ShockAndShaw Sep 13
Not sure what you mean. We ran the PC beta and it went well. Now we're getting PC ready to ship. What else were you looking for?"
Really? I mean they're are countless issues with the beta that PC players we're experiencing and yet you lie towards PC players saying that it went well. What does well exactly mean? You literally ignored the entire PC community and tried to make off saying that it went well? Listen up Bungie, I'm getting heated and it's you that is front and center, right here, right now guys. Cut the shit and talk to the PC community. Nevermind relying on Destiny 2 Reddit or that Destiny Discord. They aren't the entire PC community and most of them will migrate from console.
WE STAND WITH CONSOLE PLAYERS
The bigger picture is on the outside with 130 million + strong PC Gamers. You want to sell this game start listening to the PC community and what they say. We want you to stop feeding us one liners and especially console players. They are the heart and soul for Destiny 2 and we will stand by them 100% as you have become a toxic company looking to cash in on this title. Everyday we watch and we listen to console players vent their frustrations at Bungie. Enough is enough.
I have never imagined how worse this Destiny 2 launch could be until now and it shows in the content delivered from Bungie. You stripped key elements from what made Destiny special to each and every Guardian across the globe. You stripped the Grind, Weapon Rolls and limited the customization options for every player. Why? Why take away the key elements from what made Destiny, Destiny?
You Took Away The Light Bungie
You don't realize the damage is only going to get worse and worse and eventually you will lose credibility as a studio with a tarnished reputation for what you did here. The light may never come back to these players because they have walked away from the studio that doesn't listen and react to change. This game may look good on PC and run great on PC but looks aren't everything we look for in a game.
We look to what the game has to offer us in terms of content and community. None of these are appealing since you went silent on the community and especially in the PC community. You also had two months to finish completing the PC version right? If that's the case then why are you having "Known Issues" day one of launch? I mean you pretty much ruined the game by releasing it to consoles early and yet launch day features and problems? Content cut off? Lackluster responses for two months.
The Lies Keep Pouring Down
In response to the above, I do not believe Bungie and Vicarious Visions were working on the PC version for Destiny 2. In fact, I believe the game was already done and waiting for release. Now call it speculation but it's not uncommon for a studio to head on vacation and go silent for two months. Am I right? Or am I right? I'm right! Seriously though regardless of what transpired Destiny 2 PC cancellations have been popping up and most certainly within my discord of once 56 players now down to 43 players.
You Cannot Hide
It is sad to see this happening especially since Bungie stated that "They want to get it right on PC" Well you showed us over the last two months that you don't belong on PC and we took notice. This is not going away and we are starting to kick Bungie where it hurts, starting today. Good Luck Bungie.
"Change is constant"

You really need to leave. Writing id on the wall no need to spend cash to find out how bad it is.

3 Replies43? Wow... go easy on em man. Guys! The 43 best and brightest of the gaming community are putting their foot down, since their emails and questions weren’t handled properly and post haste. It’s hard when you finally figure out that you, or your opinions just aren’t valid in the world. Let me tell you what’ll happen, to all 43 of you should you decide to deprive the Destiny community of your lofty presence, nothing. No one, Bungie/Activision included will care, the game will carry on without you (however hard it will be) and people like me will pop in from time to time to troll your self righteous ass, check your entitlement.

3 RepliesYou keep bringing up 43 people... no one cares they already made so much money that the 43 of you guys don't effect them at all

“Yea this game sucks” #FreeDabest

2 RepliesPC players are very mindful of reviews and feedback. Looking at the current shitstorm in the forum, only a retard will buy d2.

Final Number Of Pre-Orders Cancelled October 23rd, 2017 4:37am Eastern Standard Time Thank you all again for the feedback and uniting together on all three platforms over the state of the game. I would like to tell you that we had a lot of emails and conversations through hundreds of discords and clans for Destiny 2 on PC and it's been met with an overwhelming response to the major problems plagued with Destiny 2. Furthermore I finally have the opportunity to let you know that our clan has 13 members out of 43. The remaining 13 including myself as the the 13th person will be doing an extensive review for potential PC users looking to buy the game. We have livestream beginning at 11:30pm Est tonight and it will run for 72 hours straight playing Destiny 2. We encourage each and everyone of you on PC to join us for this event. This review will be strictly professional and it will be critical so please be aware that praise and negative emotions will occur. Destiny 2 PC 72 Hour Livestream Event Link https://www.twitch.tv/events/R0NL5x5qQpylL9yCn5YJIQ In ending the total number of PC players who cancelled they're pre-orders for Destiny 2 on PC came in at at 854. Based on everyone buying the game at regular USD price Bungie and Activision would lose out on $51,231,46. If we were to base this on Digital Deluxe Edition at $99.99 they would lose $85,391,46 USD. This is a significant amount of money lost and I'm sure that a lot more will come forward and cancel the game as well. Those that doubt the 43 Players Post and other posts that we related to didn't realize that we were working around the clock with a lot of clan leaders on PC through tonnes of forums and communities since this post went live. This was not just a post that would fade away, this was us saying that the PC Community is here to shake things up and raise awareness over Destiny 2. Thank you.

well, i rock a PS4 and posted a thread here a week ago warning off the PC crowd. suggesting that they wait for a more stable platform before investing. suggesting that PC gamers follow Twitter, Reddit, and the Bungie forums for news on fixes to the console version of D2 before expecting that anyone would roll out a tested fix for any PC issues. didn't get any replies. as far as i know not one person read my post. oh well. i tried to warn you. get a PS4

1 ReplyTo sum this up you're mad because there is aim assist on PC?
-
2 RepliesWow sooo dramatic... you do cosplay and stuff don't you? The games not great but you seem far too emotionally invested in your campaign to 'stand up against bungie' People will make their own decision whether they like the game or not and potentially stop playing. Being a keyboard revolutionary isn't going to make a difference.

4 RepliesDo yourself a favor and cancel it; bungo must be punished for their transgressions.
-
3 RepliesGet a girl friend! (Or boy friend), you know. That the things you can see out of your window is actually a place (it’s called the real world) go try it out!
-
8 RepliesNo one gives a shit. Go play something else.

7 RepliesI have been summoned

3 Replies43 pc players leaving? Isnt that like half the pc player base?
-
2 RepliesWe'll miss you....oh wait, no we won't. You haven't even started yet and you're already bitching. Take your friends with you

With 43 people unsatisfied and not buying D2 on PC. I'm sure there will be hundreds more like them.

Destiny has no competition

3 RepliesEdited by Iccotak: 10/22/2017 12:12:25 PMHere is Destiny 2 total playtime compared other Looter games. Look at what you are getting for your dollar. Borderlands 2 - Total Average time: 110 hrs (without DLC) https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=1274 Diablo 3 - Total Average time: 153 hrs (without DLC) https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=2514 Destiny 1 - Total average playtime: 358 hrs https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=14358 (It took Bungie 3 years of DLC and updates to reach that number, which is when it was considered a complete product.) Destiny 2 - Total Average time: 39 1/2 hrs (Without DLC) https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=43894 Even if you compare different play-styles, Destiny 2 does not have even half the level of content the other two do. AND On Top of That, Borderlands and Diablo have Way more re-playability. So yeah, I expect more from Destiny 2
-
12 RepliesLol I’m sure they’ll miss those 43 players... out of millions. I agree with your sentiment, but jumping on here like you hold the keys to shitting Bungie down and yelling at them about it just makes you look like an entitled prick
-
1 ReplyA whole 43?!!!! Woah, bungie won't be able to handle that kind of financial crisis!
-
Yeah I just canceled my preorder as well. Game is absolute garbage and owning it on one platform is bad enough currently.
