D2 is absolute trash right now
Without selective multiplayer weapon rolls and a more well populated multiplayer and 1 less playable area than that of d1 vanilla launch this game feels like it was edited by a group of screaching twelve year olds honestly bungie what where you thinking when you made this game sure the new weapon arc types are fun and early infusion is nice but other than that this game is a far stretch from the initial glory of its predecessor this games poop man waste of my money and a waste of my -blam!-in time put in selective multiplayer and a bigger team option and weapon rolls and then we'll talk better game it needs balance im bored of getting sacked by the same two guns #goingbacktod1untilshitisfixed

Especially those saying, "This game is garbage". Although I disagree with Cammy's suggestions with how to "fix the game"....he has a very good understanding regarding the nature of the "problem". Destiny 2 doesn't have an identity crisis, however. It has simply attracted a very large, very diverse, and very VOCAL community....who are trying to pull the game in 4 incompatible directions. FPS gamers show up....and want Destiny to play like a pure FPS like Halo. MMO gamers show up....and what Destiny to play like a pure MMO like WoW or Elder Scrolls. RPG gamers show up and want the game to play like Mass Effect. Looter fans show up...and wand the game to play like Diablo 3 or Borderlands. AND THE GAME CAN'T DO IT. (And this is where Cammy gets it wrong in the second half) . There is NO VERSION of this game that is going to please everyone. There is no version of this game that is going to give all these factions that "pure" experience they want. Because it would DESTROY aspects of the game that other gamers from other backgrounds enjoy. No matter what Bungie does with this game, SOME part of this community is going to be unhappy with it. ....and right now is the people who: 1. Think that $60 entitles to endless content. 2. Players who (as Cammy noted) play for external motivations ("loot") 3. PvP players who want greater variety of play options Are getting frustrated with this game. 1. Year 1 of a sequel is NOT going to give you the same amount of content as the 3rd year of a game that is at the end of its life. Expecting it is unreasonable, and is only setting yourself up to be unhappy. 2. While I understand the frustration of these players with Destiny 2, this was a conscious design choice on Bungie's part. To favor the casual gamer over the hardcore...and the internally motivated player ("The friend game"/ The end game is fun.) over the externally motivated one (rare loot, status). 3. Again, understand.....but PVP in Destiny 1 was a broken mess...and needed to be rebuilt from the ground up. That takes time...and needs space to be done properly. It also requires patience from the community.

I've been playing Destiny on both consoles for a couple of years and most of the time I was in the Crucible. I must have had a combined rank of 250. This Crucible is -blam!-ing trash. Can't pick your game. What the -blam!- are they thinking? Scoring is complete bull shit. Time to kill is too high. I'm a huge fanboy and I can admit this is -blam!-ing Trash.

The devs are ITT Tech (now defunct) graduate hacks that are completely out of touch with today's gamers. Bungie of today has nothing more than their past legacy (a completely different Bungie team when they were under the Microsoft umbrella) to maintain any level of credibility. I agree, D2 is broken in so many ways........5 steps forward but 15 steps back.

12 RepliesThey were thinking of the casuals? Only 31.1% of Guardians have equipped a piece of Exotic gear. Only 23.8% of Guardians have worn Legendary/Exotic armor in every slot. Only 24.2% of Guardians have earned max Vanguard marks in a week, while just 16% have maxed their Crucible marks in a week. Only 23.1% of Guardians have reached rank 3 with the Vanguard. Only 19.2% of Guardians have completed a Raid. Only 16.9% of Guardians have maxed out a Warlock or Hunter subclass, and just 15.2% have maxed out a Titan subclass.

Yeah... Still relevant.. Bungie made 'Halo', which made standard, theater mode, big team battles, energy weapons, vehicle hijacking, controllable air and land vehicles, space battles, community fileshares of maps and variants for private or public games, online four man campaigns, and forge. Activision brought standards like, customizable loadouts and subclass perks, realistic graphics, and weapon modifications. Both companies had stories millions remember generations later. "Soap..." "It's the demon"... Somehow, with those accomplishments in their history, people find a way to defend destiny. Destiny, 3 years of reskinning, reselling and nerfing of day 1 content. Thank you to those who boycotted this newest installment. I know its harder to take a stance than follow a crowd and i comend those of you who stood against this trash and demanded more by using your money to speak, the only language companies comprehend.

Im a day 1 destiny 1 and I can't wait for Tuesday. As I'm trading this pile of $%€£ game for gt sport. Need to get rid of this trash whilst it's still "worth" somthing . I'll never buy a bungie game again.

Love the fixed rolls weapons, not everyone is a youtuber/nolife to spend 1000 hours in a game to have "great rolls" weapons.. A game don't have to be played 1000 hours to be good, theres a lot of games out there. Also, everyone complaining here, will be back when the DLC drops.

83 RepliesAgree. Destiny 2 as a whole sucks. They limited everything so much that is cookie cutter shit now. The weapon balance is waaayyyy worse than its ever been. There is absolutely no diversity. Playing trials, literally everyone is using Mida/Endless, Uriels/Prosecutor with the occasional Last Hope, and Sins of the Past. Hand cannons all seem incredibly weak and by no means should they ever be out ranged by a auto rifle. Hell Mida struggles vs Uriels. You can blame set perks for this 100%. I'm not saying set perks are a bad thing necessarily, because don't get me wrong, I don't like farming for weapon perks, but at least give more guns with more relevant perks and stats to make the meta even somewhat diverse. Not the mention set perks on classes is literally the worst idea they could have possibly done. Name me one person who actually bitched they had options in play style. No one. I love how Bungo went from "We want players to be able to play a diverse and wide range of weapons and give players options" to setting everything up as preset to that its mindless garbage. Outside of fast travel and the way that the story was presented, Destiny 2 is garbage.

4 RepliesThis game is an apparent scam. Since they chopped up Destiny 1 and sold it back to us in pieces over 3 years and was successful with it, Destiny 2 is now going to have the same fate. Activision/Bungie are purposely holding back content....I hope you people realize this. The only way to stop this is by not playing this empty, hollow game. It sucks so bad because I bought into this Destiny vision from the beginning. 3 years later while patiently waiting to get Destiny 1 (the beta) where it was an ok game, I thought for sure they would have the recipe for success. Man am I ever disappointed!

I juat want weapon rolls back. That was the whole reason to grind. The only upside i see to all of this is i have plenty of time to play other games now since im not touching this until next vig update. Put another 100 hours into Fallout 4 over the past two weeks since i never finished it and started Shadow of War yesterday. Loving it so far!
