Iron Banner loot drops are terrible.
I've been playing on my Hunter trying to get a full set of the iron Banner armour cause it honestly looks amazing. But I've now opened 9 packages only to get the chest piece, and over half my drops from the packages have been stuff I already had. Seriously why isn't there a system that increases the chance of getting loot you don't already have cause the amount of times it's screwed me over is -blam!-ing ridiculous. Bungie do something about this.

What a totally infuriating bunch of crap. 26 packages and I get the helmet and the bond for my warlock about 12 times. Nothing else. Same weapons over and over...total waste of time.

Been playing as much as possible since Iron Banner and have opened 33 packages with duplicates of literally everything except the wolf gloves I want. Like this is absolutely awful. You guys did a great job with the gear and the theme is super cool but this just sucks. At least make it so that some gear randomly drops in the Iron Banner matches? Random loot for these timed events is a bad idea. Just sayin'.

This is absolutely rediculus. I have opened up 34 iron Banner packages now and still haven’t received the leg armor which is the last piece i need. This is not the same iron Banner I remember from destiny 1, this is actually a nightmare....

Apparently the loot drop for Iron Banner in Destiny 2 is the worst it has ever been. But not only on IB, in everything else as well. The Raid is ridiculous. I am level 17 in iron banner and still have not gotten a chest piece or helmet. I only got 2 gauntlets, one leg armor, one cloak and 3-4 weapons. The rest has been weapons and armor that is totally non related to iron banner. And this is just on one character. I have not started on the other 2 and will not be able either. I have been a Destiny fan since it first came out a few years back, but I am seriously looking at dropping Destiny and moving on to COD World at War, when it comes out in November. After all the hours I have put on and all the money that I have spent on this game, I do not think it is too much to ask, for a big game company as bungie, to develop a better weapon and armor drop system. After all, we all depend on such drops to advance in the game. It is just unacceptable and to a point, disappointing, as you expect more from such a game developer.

1 ReplyI must be lucky. Got 4/5 parts after hitting rank 6. Anyway, I have a solution: after hitting rank 10 you should be able to buy the parts which you haven't got. I am just waiting for the helmet - the last part. And if I have bad luck with RNG it may take several packages to finally get it...

RNG on armour is ridiculous. Iron Banner has turned into an unpleasant and arduous grind as a result. I like the idea of being able to purchase the items you want once you reach the 10 package milestone on each character. Bungie please fix this!!!

Lol you're only on 9 I've opened 36 and all I have is the chest arms and cape for weapons I got the grenade launcher, auto rifle and pulae rifle that's it...... 36 that's 720 coins I used all 3 characters to get that many coins throughout this whole week and all I wanted was the helmet........ That's an embarrassment to gaming

1 ReplyBetween 3 characters I have opened at least 25 packages and I have only gotten 2 pieces of armor for my titan, 2 pieces for the hunter, and 0 for the warlock. I've also gotten the hand cannon once and every other drops (20) have been that ridiculous sub machine gun! What are the chances that RNG would only give u 1 weapon 20 times! The last 8 drops have all been the sub machine gun! Its ridiculous. The whole token/RNG system has the ruined the Iron Banner and the raid. Its pretty ridiculous.

But after recieving my 10th scout rifle (mind you the worst gun in iron banner) I'm ready to give up on this game mode entirely. It's getting to the point where the game is just insulting you...-blam!-.

Edited by Vicarious: 10/16/2017 8:20:18 AMI've encountered the same hurdles. 23 Iron Banner engrams opened and still no leg Armor or Warlock Bond... 5 auto rifles, 3 gauntlets, 2 helmets, 2 chest pieces, 3 fusion rifles, 3 sub machine guns and the list of dupes go on. This RNG system needs to be reviewed. 3 RepliesFam, I've opened 30 packages and got dupes of every single thing (including at least 8 grenade launchers now, and 5 sidearms) and I haven't gotten the arms for the Titan once. Not one time. Iron Banner this time around is absolute trash. Totally, absolutely garbage. They should've kept post-match Iron Banner loot drop chances in.

1 ReplyIm only missing the helmet on my hunter. Idk if this is common knowledge but pro tip- have three characters and do the milestones on all of them save the tokens and turn them in on the character you want geared out the most.

Don’t care about the trash weapons, don’t care about the ugly armor, just want the class items. Every day item it’s dupes now. Each match is pure cancer I already hate the PvP why do we have to make it worse by playing a god damn slot machine.

15 packages and many losses, more than half :-) many duplicate items and no chest The looting of the system is really bad and frustrating, at some point it makes me sick I do not know why to create a simple system that you only exchange tokens for armor or weapon

Had all the weapons by Wednesday and now racking up multiples of each plus 2 cloaks, 5 boots, 4 arms, 1 helmet and no chest. No point in telling me it'll drop next time if I don't get it, rng says I might never get it. I mean I didn't get Black Hammer until my 109th Crota kill. Bring back RoI style IB, this is so frustrating. BTW, really liking the IB weapons, armour's very nice too.

Update: 18 packages and well over 50 matches more than half of which have been loses and only 2 pieces of the armour to speak of, real nice work you've done there Bungie 👌
