Remember your First exotic and legendary from D1?
My first legendary was the Shadow Price, with some pretty bad perks. And my first exotic was Hawkmoon from the week 2 Nightfall!
Now in destiny 2 I have all exotics and only use 4 legendaries in total, and I have no memory on how I got any of them.
EDIT: After seeing all these posts it makes me miss all the variety in weapons in D1 that made them memorable, from the name of the gun all the way to how the gun looked and performed. I do hope that down the line D2 will gain this ability for its future weapons.

My first Legendary was a Comedian (Vanguard Shotgun) with the perfect Perk roll from my first Legendary Engram (back when you could still get Rare and I think Uncommon from them) My first Exotic was (hilariously) my Gjallarhorn which I got for losing a Crucible match in the first week of the game! I didn't actually know how good it was though, so I never used it untill all the forums and Ytubers went ballistic over how incredible a weapon it was. In that same week I also got my Icebreaker (once again) from a Legendary Engram. My friends were rather upset with me that week :P

First legendary was LDR with ambush flared magwell extended mag and final round. The absolute god roll. First exotic armour would be achlyo phage symbiote and gun would be bad ju ju from the quest

First legendary might've been steel oracle rocket launcher and my first exotic was suros regime. Got it before xur sold it, oh the days where no one knew it's power and I was the nearly the only one using it in every game. I've never felt such power in a pvp mode since...

I will never forget my first exotic was The last Word, it sucks that Bungie has the audacity to take those precious memories away from us. I was so stoked thinking "man I wonder what my first exotic will be in D2!!"

I got the suros regime from a public event in the cosmodrome...Being my first exotic I was sooo stoked!!! I had to go to work and didnt even get to fire a bullet....I was excited all day and when i finally got home, i couldn't log in fast enough...That was the beginning of a beautiful friendship with destiny!! Not long after i got the cryptic dragon. To this day the Cryptic dragon remains my all time favorite!!! Man i want to go back to those first moments in d1!!

My first legendary was the badger ccl. I never git rid if it. My first exotic was the patience and time. Something i dont have to deal with all these special snowflakes running around whining over a game that some others enjoy.

Don't remember my first legendary but I do remember my first exotic. The last word. Only gun at the time to win in stale mates vs the unerfed vex mythoclast. If there wasn't a vex in a game, I'd dominate everyone in that match lol.
