If the earth is accelerating at the same speed everywhere, why aren't all places at the same altitude the same temperature?

The atmosphere is accelerating with the earth. The ground radiates heat from the light of the sun. As you go up, you get further from that warmth.

How would seasons work then?

You say the Earth can't be spinning because we can't feel it yet you say the Earth is accelerating upwards but we can't feel that either. And it would've hit the speed of light by now right?
