Rat king quest didn't drop rat king
I completed the nightfall with two other people also doing their last step of the quest and the rat king dropped for both of them but didn't drop for me? Still have 6:30 on the clock when we finished

Im SOOOOOOO mad right now, had 12mins left on the clock with my Warlock n Rat King didnt drop!!!!! I tried signing out n bck in....still notta. Come on Bungie!!!! Get with ur program!!

Same here, add my voice to the chorus. Two buddies and I completed the night fall with about 7:30 time remaining ... And no drop.

My cousin had this issue, our team equipped our rat guns and he got his. My thought, party needs mission or guns to acquire the gun for a member. This information is after failing to aquire his several times even with 7 min left. lol

Did nightfall today on last step beat if with 6 minutes left other people had rat king last step and didnt get it i wonder if this id a bug of something also no one got it

Finished and no drop also happened to my buddy as well last night but he got it today. Mine wasn't locked.

I can't -blam!-ing believe you need another person on the SAME step. Everyone has done this now, finding someone on the same step who can actually do the nightfall has made me completely give up, absolute shite game design.

Same. Ran it three times, final time beat it with 8 minutes left, and not rat king for any of us.

Just did mine with 6:10 left and it did not drop...sucks bad considering I have been working pretty hard at trying to get it. Found a great team to do it with and it did not complete. Hope we get this fixed somehow and those who completed receive the prize!

1 Replya Fire-team of 3 ran it and we had 8 Mins left, (we were killing it) they already had the Ray King and were Just helping me out. after we crushed the Boss, and Told them i didn't get it. They both were confused too. whats the Deal. I saved the Video too!!

Beaten twice just last night. was really confused since I was doing it on my alt. Thought I didn't have the first part of quest completed. Realized I did and ran it again for nothing. send it to creek__johnson my postmaster should be around, you can send it with my raid keys 🔑.

1 ReplyThree of us got the rat king in a Nightfall run on Friday. Our friend still needed it so we ran a Nightfall yesterday and it didn't work for him. The other two fireteam members had it in inventory. After coming to these forums we decided to give it another go with one fireteam member having it actually equipped for the end boss fight. That worked and our fireteam member who had the quest completed it. The chain does seem buggy and the gun is very proximity based. If you are helping a friend give it a try where one of you who has it done already has it equipped to see if that gives it to the remaining member still on the quest.

Happened to me as well, had 6 plus mins left and not completion!

1 ReplyJust happened to me and we had 7 minutes to spare. If it's true that you need to do it with other people that have the same quest, they should've been more specific in the riddle and you tubers who made videos on how to do the quest said you just had to be in a fireteam. Such bs
