Out of those two I'd go with the Plantronics. For one, it's a well established brand and they actually give you some numbers as opposed to the straight marketing wank you get from Afterglow. On top of that, I haven't had the best of experiences with Afterglow quality control. Cheap chinesium crap.
It'll at least get you by while you save up for a proper pair of headphones. Like the Beyerdynamic DT770s + ModMic 5 I use.

Edited by Entropy91: 9/2/2017 9:44:52 PMLooking at the listed specs, not too bad. Actually pretty comparable to beyerdynamic's entry level headset, which is about the same price. Only thing about that set is that it's on-ear, as opposed to over-ear.
