Controller+Mouse configuration doesn't work. Please fix this.

One of the great things about PC gaming is that you have many options in how you want to play games. My personal preference is to use both a controller and a mouse at the same time. You hold your controller in your left hand, for stick movement and a few buttons, and then your right hand uses a mouse for precision aiming (and well about 15 more buttons). Well you couldn't do this with the Destiny 2 PC open beta. It was nice to showcase you can have invert on controller but separate from mouse which can be normal. That's good. But if you used the controller, the mouse wouldn't work, and if you used the mouse the controller wouldn't work. It would leave you hanging while it switched over. But both could not be used at the same time. So I could be aiming but not moving, or moving but not aiming. Many games allow this configuration. Use it on Overwatch all the time. This is a big issue, because I don't want to compete against mouse precision with a controller, nor do I want to use a keyboard. It puts me in that awkward place where there is no way I can play this game and have fun. I'm either going to get wasted by mouse players, or hating the game while trying to use a keyboard. Controller+mouse configuration nails it. Stick movement plus precision aim. Please patch this in. 360 controller plus mouse input at the same time.

    • Its set up to NOT work that way on purpose. The controller enables aim assist, the mouse disables aim assist. See?

Probly gonna need some sort of stub that manages both inputs and muxes it to the OS as if it were a single device. Some sort of 3rd party API may exist already like the DS3 Joy or old flight stick front ends? Everything got weird after Micro$oft monkeyed up Direct Input and all a while back.
