Destiny 2. This account has been banned. For What?!
I just played and suddenly got a ban. For what? How?! 5 minutes of play and ban. Are you seriously? I paid you for the game, and you ban me just like that ?!

I was kicked out of my quickplay crucible match imediatly after it started due to connection error (not sure what it said, i thought nothing of it because i get those all the time) so i just took a shower and came back but now its says "N O T S O F A S T this account has been banned. For more information please go to bungie.net/ban. I dont cheat and it wasnt a competitive match i was kicked from just quickplay so im not sure what it was bungie D2 is really what all of my friends are doing and i really enjoy it so please fix this.

Seriously though, what is happening? i've been playing the absolute hell out of this game since i got it, and when i go to log in this morning, all i get is the big ban hammer message. Bungie, I'm not sure what I did to deserve this ( since you give no reasoning for banning people, and will not actually discuss it with the people who have been banned), but i have done absolutely nothing to deserve such treatment. I pre-ordered the game and supported you guys because i was so hyped for the game to be coming out. You have officially wrongfully banned a customer who has supported you for both Destiny and Destiny 2.

My friend got banned just for using the MSI afterburnner app. Bungie, I get that you want to keep Destiny 2 free of cheaters, but this is honestly just plain stupid. Most PC gamers use this just to simply monitor how there system is running, and if he can get auto banned for using an app that more than 50% of gamers use, Bungie needs to get their act together.

I was banned after 2 hours of gameplay yesterday 10/24/2017 at about 9:30 EST. This is ridiculous and must be addressed. I am beyond speechless. I don't know who to reach out to. I've been posting on the forums for countless hours, using twitter to try and communicate with Bungie and there has been no response. Bungie we need answers and support! I've spent real dollars on the game, real dollars on upgrading my PC in preparation for the PC launch and real dollars on the Bungie store because I have been supporting the game and projects since DESTINY 1 BETA! This is ridiculous.

Same here. I registered on Bungie.net and linked with Battle.net without replying the verification email. Login the game on US server and stay with the character creation then....disconnected and got banned... I bought Galax GTX 1080 long time ago with my Destiny 2. Redeemed on Battlenet

Ok so i am banned for using my MSI gaming app. That is the dumbest ban reason ever. Why the heck you ban for a app that you get with your graphics card that does nothing to help you in game. It Overclocks your card and changes the LED lights colors on it. Bungie is so messed up right now. I want to scream but I will keep it respectable and not cuss. But I so want to tell bungie where to go and how to get there.

I just started the game and when I went to titan for the first time i went afk for maximum 45 seconds as I opened the door for my sister who was coming in the house and came back it said i was disconnected from the Destiny server and when I tried to go back to character selection it said I was banned and the I had to go to bungie.net/ban and here I am. I hope its like For Honor where they will see that people that got banned randomly and let them play again. I hope...

I feel like this is the same for me. I just did a few Crucible matches and I've been banned for no reason. Are they using an auto-ban bot or something that just bans anyone who gets like 1 report?

I started playing the game pressed F1 as a noob that i am to start reading the skills and equipment, now if your human this may take anywhere from 5- 10 mins to read all the data and stats of the abilities, well Bungie decided that cheating and i got an account ban? I have wireless keyboard, mouse and headset maybe they think software is is simulating input, which from a technical point of view it is (fundamentals of wireless) So iv been banned and now me, and my other 3 friends have stopped playing and are no longer buying this game, good job Bungie you lost 4 purchases, wonder how many more will join the growing pile [Recommendation for Bungie] Disable your anti cheats auto banning feature or make the bans 10-30 mins so you can actually see if your system works, rather they attacking your player base and potentially ruining your chances like 'Hello Games' did of releasing a decent game on to the PC market

One more for the statistics, i just got ban while in game and i dont know why, the only thing that i have one is steam, bitdefender and battle.net and i played yesterday at night and today for 3 hours and this, great! i was going to buy a pre-order the game day, not anymore i guess.

4 RepliesLol. So let me get this straight. They go months without banning people on D1 for blatant network manipulation and now they are throwing out insta-bans on D2 PC beta. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction, however, I truly feel sorry if you are innocent. It could be a bug with their detecting software, which was, before this moment, non-existent.

The issue is that Bungie has never had to deal with background programs being run like Discord or MSI Afterburner or any kind of recording/streaming software while their games are being played. They're just being overly cautious because on a lot of other PC games, hackers are running rampant.

Been playing all day no issues . If u wanna know how fast that GPU is running u need to alt - tab and see X Celsius on a X MHZ I mean sure its a little hassle , i'll take that over cheating .
