How would you describe the plot of Destiny 2 to a new player?
I would describe it like this. The last city on earth gets annihilated; you and your allies have to rebuild, and fight back.
Thoughts?
Update: Bungie came out with a new trailer today that explains my post so I guess it's irrelevant now

So basically you're a -blam!-in space wizard that uses guns and you're the hero of earth and humanity. Soon after returning to earth you get invaded by -blam!-in space turtles that are pissed because you have space magic and they don't. Now you think an army of space wizards would take them on right???? No they brought a -blam!-ton of guns and disable the source of your power. Now you have no space magic and only guns and now you have to get your shit back kick that alien turtle bitch in the -blam!-in face. All while being on the grind for some fashionable space armor and petting chickens.

So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold once and for all.
