The S15 wrapped up production in '02. The downside is that Silvias seem to be exceedingly rare.
Counterpoint to the rarity thing... The S chassis was freaking meta for a hot minute on the drift scene, right?
Edit Also in 2002 (if my facts are right) after Renault bought stock in Nissan they revived the Z car in the form of the 350Z. That platform seems to have held up pretty well, no?

I liked the fair lady z much better than the 350/370z. Not that they're ugly, just my opinion.

Edited by Aldrich: 8/23/2017 10:43:38 AMYeah, I like the old S30 too. Technically... In Japan the 350Z is still branded Fairlady ;) The question is also asking about the 2000s. Not 60's, 70's or 80's. But for -blam!- sake this thing is pure sex. http://www.speedhunters.com/2016/02/fuguz-movie-stars-car-guys/ Sure it's got the bolt on arches and some shit that I don't like... but it works here. And I've seen far worse things done to cars both on the net and irl so... Edit That engine swap doe.
