I just started playing Mirror's Edge again and am having fun running, jumping and reaching hard to get to places while I wait for Destinyou 2 to drop. Then I was thinking "I wonder why more FPS developers don't put more into first person movement."
I think adding something similar to the parkour in Mirror's Edge could be a neat addition to the world of destiny. The exploration and platforming are fun, but having to do some wall runs, flips and rolling landings could add some fun playability within the gorgeous environments of Destiny.
What do you guys think?

Edited by Solarvoidlock: 8/2/2017 9:00:39 PMWell we have jumping puzzles like Felwinter's Peak. Since the community likes jumping puzzles, there's probably more of them in D2. Personally I love them. Can't wait to explore son!

Eh, I'm all for having fewer movement mechanics tbh. I don't like sprints, clambers, or wall runs. When those are introduced to games, I usually see drops in base movement speed and jump height. That's just me though.

Or maybe not.

A feature I'd like to see is text chat in social spaces. You could just type in: "Anyone up for the nightfall" and everyone in that social space would see it and have the option to reply. Or you could disable chat if not interested
