Any other uses for Exotic Shards other than upgrading weapons and armor?
I have a stockpile of exotic shards and no more exotics to upgrade. Is there any other uses for them like trading in to a vendor?

You can only trade this(but in combination with motes and str coins) by Xur for GLASS NEEDLES wich allows you to change the stats on exotic armor(TWIST FATE) it is the perk under infusing on Exotic armor.But you cant do nothing else with it like this.Or simply Discard😉

It would be good as endgame for bungie to unlock a like for like currency system so we can trade everything into motes or shards or glimmer or rep or strange coins, whatever. (but its unlikely I feel)
