Does anyone know how to get mob heads in minecraft Survival?
I don't want this to be a joke post section. I just want a helpful answer

Been a long time... I think you needed to kill them in a specific way... an enchantment or something... don't remember. Blowing them up with creepers is a way, but GL with that.

4 RepliesFind a creeper while it's storming, be lucky enough for lightning to hit the creeper, have the charged creeper blow up whichever mob you want the head of. If you want a wither skeleton head, however, you just have to kill them enough and be lucky with drops.

1 ReplyThe supercharged creeper method is a guarantee (though you have to run through about 2 or 3 chances first), but you could always just grab a high level Looting sword. I don't know if that still works (it's been a while since I last played Minecraft. Last version I played was 1.8), but it's worth a shot.
