Wasn't Plato's ideal government lead only by philosophers and that it would never happen because it would be like trying to explain what the world looks like to someone whos only ever lived under a cave.
Or am I the only one that actually pay attention in class?

It was actually designed as a theoretical situation with no intention of being inacted. Sort of a game meant for philosophical gamesmanship. That's the best part!
