Need new rappers to listen to
So I've been expanding my taste in music and I'm currently doing rap. I used to really only listen to the training wheels of rap (eminem, hopsin,etc.) But I've been recently looking into other rappers. I'll put the rappers I've done a deep dive into in a spoiler

Anyways, I'd like to hear some recommendations you guys have so I can keep expanding. I'm more interested in current rappers and not people from the 80s or 90s. Feel free to include them if you want for others but it's not my target atm. Thanks guys!

Try some old school rap. I got into Too Short back in the day. I listen to many artists but mostly Metal and hard rock. Still i have a wide appreciation for artist i like. Rage Against the machine. Bestie boys. Not exactly rap but pretty close. old dirty bastard. L.L. Cool J Plenty of Rap artist probably more than i can list but check them out and see if you like them. Old School artist might have a flavor you are interested in.

The list goes on and on. If you want to experience rap, and find the more classic rap like Big L and wu tang, unenterntaining, just look up the top songs of those artists, and you'll basically get the best rap experience you can get. Listening to brand new rappers only, a lot of it isn't even rap. Lil yachty, does not really rap. The list I gave you is a pretty well generalized one that will give you the best of the best of each type of rap, most types. Hear different flows and then you will see why so many rapper today sound the same. Listen to biggie, then luda, then busta rhymes. So different. You could recognize their songs the second they uttered a word. Now I gotta look up who a song is by, i can't even distinguish their voices, when they just say... ya, ya, ya, roll it, ya, ya
