Thoughts on The Vex Mythoclast
Call me crazy, but I just got it today and it's not my favorite. The stability is a little off, but it does great amounts of damage. Dunno what to think.

It is my favourite exotic weapon in the game, despite it being almost completely useless now. It's a shame they nerfed it, It's only a shell of what it used to be.

It was once a great trophy weapon which deserved its exotic status, not anymore thanks to the pvp crucibabies, pretty much garbage like the rest of the weapons in the game now also blanket nerfed due to pvp.

8 RepliesI'm still in the 0-27 club of not having the year 3 vex. Every week since 390 VOG came out I've run it on all 3 characters...no vex. But I'm sure I will love it (in PvE) when I get it.

OG Vex was great. Got the Y3 one, shot it a bit and saw how shitty it shoots and now just use it to walk around the tower and make people salty. I'll admit it. Sorry. <sigh>

Its a ton of fun to use. I just suck using it in PvP lmao But its great fun, sounds awesome and looks great. I got its Year 3 version first week of Vault of Glass Atheon Challenge Mode, and not long after earned the ornament for it

Compared to year 1, it's shit. Now, just comparing it to other solar exotics...it's still bad

It's a great gun in the low ranges if you can handle the recoil, and if you are lucky, you can snipe by tapping the respective button on the controller to shoot just one shot.

It is a shell of its former self, but it is still an amazing weapon. It's like the Last Word, you have to be up close, and you have to get used to it, but you can melt guardians. Not an easy weapon to use, but very rewarding.

6 RepliesMy thoughts? Bungie actively makes sure I don't get it while also making sure to give it to at least 2 other people in my raid party, regardless to if they already have it or not.

It's nothing compared to what it used to be but it can still drop people pretty fast if you can land precision hits. Was messing around with it in crucible the other day for the fusion kills bounty. Linear compensator + extended mag. Pull down when you shoot.

The stability has been garbage since the Year 2 nerf. And then they nerfed it again for Year 3, so now it is really trash. In Year 1 it was great: shot like a scout with full auto, but hit like a FR. Now it shots like an AR with no stability, and hits like a garbage AR with low impact.
