So for the first time in my 3 years as a Destiny player I encountered on the 9-0 game legit ddossers!
We got disconnected before the seconds round all three of our internets/Destiny crashed at the same time( internet still working on all other devices) I was still sceptical then I see there win history....
Did not know linking names could get me suspended cheers lads
People, your focusing on the wrong point. Maybe ddos isn't the right word for it, I'm not a network geek. Regardless the people in my last game were proven cheaters as by there stats. Thats the real problem, not the fact I don't understand certain terms 😂

3 RepliesListen; Bungie ran the numbers on this. Only 0.2% of trials wins are actual cheating.
-
I like how when somebody gets disconnected they immediately flock to the forums and claim somebody ddossed them
-
3 RepliesI got dos'd once and it completely knocked my modem out. I reported them to Xbox.... who knows if anything happened.
-
If your internet was still working for other devices then it was not a ddoss attack. Ddoss attacks flood your router with millions of package data causing it to overload. A router that gets overloaded can't send any wifi signals or provide Internet until it stabilizes again... You simply lost connection to host by some means that I'm not so sure about.
git gud
-
If your internet was still working, it wasn't a (D)DOS. You were disconnected from the host. Not the same thing
-
3 RepliesBad internet connection doesn't equal DDOS.

Edited by DroidTheLegend: 5/16/2017 7:13:56 AMLol. DDOS'ing does exist , don't get me wrong, but there are only a few people out there who take the risk of getting caught and getting punished for it . Streamers get DDOS'ed but not every other player. There are plenty of cheaters in Destiny but please stop misinterpreting your disconnects, this is NO DDOS ffs. They are cheaters though, no doubt , but they didn't DDOS you.

4 Repliesthats not a DDOS you absolute plebian
-
3 RepliesYour team lost connection to the host. U were not ddosed. Stop trying to add to the falsehood of dos attacks, when u have no clue what you are talking about
-
4 RepliesAlso the real real problem is how bungie protects these cheaters by the name shame bs
-
Working as intended- bungie
-
9 Replies"Someone beat me, they must be cheating." "My Internet cut out, they must be cheating."
-
"Internet still working on all other devices" <> DOS or DDOS. You may have run into some cheaters, but they weren't DDOS'ing you or your buds if your post is accurate...

4 RepliesEdited by jnikoley: 5/15/2017 2:42:25 PMI checked your game history and found the match you were disconnected from. One of the three players on the other team has a history of winning matches against incomplete teams. It's a very high number, occurred on multiple characters, with various different fire team members, and over many different weeks. This is the type of history you would see on an account using DoS attacks to boot their opponents. If you believe they cheated, be sure you report the other team. If you couldn't report them in game, you can report them using Bungie's online form: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967

I had a guy ddos my friend and I, and then he decided to message us saying we we're cheating
-
5 RepliesYour internet was still working on other devices it was not a dos attack you simply lagged out.
-
Edited by Teal'c: 5/15/2017 10:16:02 AMI checked the stats and there are really weird ones they won games with 1-2 and have zero kills It looks like they are cheating
-
Not a DDoS... People wonder why Bungie doesn't issue bans sometimes
-
6 RepliesAlso it's not ddosing if your internet still works for other devices. It would've shut your entire internet down
-
You weren't DDOS'd: by your own admission your other internet devices were unaffected. DDOS is not the only network attack, just the scapegoat people assume was the attack used. Either way, cheaters abound in this game. Nothing is done by Bungie, except to the "worse offenders"! Or you if you name the cheaters! Good luck with Destiny...
( internet still working on all other devices)
Then it wasn't DDOS.
internet still working on all other devices
-_-||
-
Could you me their names
-
Ddos attack kicks entire IP address offline. Other devices won't work. So not a ddos.

Remove the names before you get suspended.
