Favorite weapon that you ever used in Destiny!!!!!?
I'm curious. Year 1 player, and have seen a ton of weapons from the OG Shadow Price, to the new stuff like Palindrome. List your favorite guns here and why. All this huff puff about iron banner and trials is nerve wracking. We are supposed to be becoming legend, now share your stories of you favorite weapon of choice and why you chose it against the most formidable adversaries you faced in Destiny!
I love the Palindrome and Eyasluna, and the original Hung Jury with extended mag and firefly. If I had to choose though, it has to go to Fatebringer. I know, this is a popular one, but this weapon is a fine representation of stopping power, utility, and very snappy handling. All of which I look for in a primary, regardless of pvp or pve. Some of the new guardians have recently gotten their hands on this legend of a weapon, and I'm certain it doesn't disappoint, although it's only an distant image of what it once was.
Remember Arc Burn Skolas!? I had this baby glued to my hand through a lot of that fight. Still my most challenging boss encounter to date. I went through a lot with that weapon. Even to this day. It holds a special place with me, and is always up for nomination into my primary slot. Cayde can keep his Ace of Spades, the Fatebringer, is just the finest weapon ever crafted in destiny in my opinion.

For legendaries... I don't like fatebringer as much as I did in year one because now you have to use explosive rounds to not have damage drop off after 10 feet also I miss the 13 shot magazine, love my longbow, I don't know I am not attached to any one legendary now. In year one I only used fatebringer and vision. Never used atheons epilogue because I didn't get it until my 45 VoG clear, sadly I am not exaggerating there i remember getting it on hard mode and my raid team was shocked how many completions I had without getting it. As we were in the dark below at that point. Also raze lighter is amazing, better than dark drinker for everything except aksis. As I'm scrolling through the comments I am thinking of more like my 77 wizard and Praetorian foil in year one they were so good. One shotting oracle's with the foil and it being so rare almost no one had one so people were amazed

Vendor version of The Devil You Know. Before exotic handcannons got legendarues nerfed as badly as they did this thing was a god. Send it, zen moment, and crowd control with my favorite the true sight. Back when range perks didn't make or break legendary rolls.

My specific roll of year 1 perks, double down, field scout, and life support, made it so that I spawned into everything with 36 yes 36 Sniper rounds and would regenerate ammo whenever I recovered from low health. It was my pride and joy.

I had a Saterienne Rapier that I used from Christmas of Y1 through June of Y1. Had Send It, And a perk that gave bonus reload if you got a kill with the final round in the mag. Had near max range, near max stability, 13 in the mag, and near max reload. Loved that gun. Got me theough every heroic story mission, VoG, CE, and PoE before I got elemental primaries. Have a Y2 version with different perks that I'll still pull out occasionally just because I still know the feel of the gun and it's a joy to use

Red death! Got it year 1 at exotic chest in VoG and it quickly became my all time favorite. Sadly it's become a fraction of its former glory but still holds up OK in PvE

Now that is a tough one. I can't say my absolute #1 favorite gun but I can state some of my favorites. PvE Primaries: Distant Star (just cause I love how it feels), Keystone, Hopscotch Pilgrim. PvP Primaries: Aegis of the Reef, Parthian Shot, Distant Star again PvE Secondary: Telesto, Thesan and Saladin's Vigil PvP Secondary: Conviction Random Number, Thesan, Saladin's Vigil, Crow's Eye I really wish I could put a handcannon into the list but I do so badly with them. I can never quite get how people do so well with them. During PvP, I time my shots and I get killed just before the third shot then when I shoot rapidly I obviously do horribly and die. I guess I give up with it.

Back in year 1, when hand cannons were accurate, I had a Revelator with braced frame, hidden hand and final round. That was my PvP go to weapon. Year 2 I was all about that colovance's duty. I had a meh roll on mine, but I still loved that thing for both PvP and PvE. That and chaperone. Soooo satisfying... Year 3, I'd have to give it to Genesis Chain~ for all around utility. Other than that, Saladin's vigil or stellar vestige are my babies. Honorable mentions for: Bad Juju (My first exotic), The Last Word (The gun that got me flawless y1), and Pocket Infinity (R.I.P. my friend)
