I'm with spindle. Cause frankly it does WAY more dps then sleeper against war priest with 6 spindles.

If you want pure damage, Sleeper. If you want consistent DPS, Spindle. Both of them are good. However, Spindle is much easier to get since you can do the 240 version of "Lost to Light" or have a rare chance to get it from Ir Yut (DeathSinger) from the Corta 390 raid. Sleeper was a timed event and it can also backfire by its beam ricocheting all the way to you causing an instant "Misadventure" due to how powerful it is. In my expert opinion, Black Spindle is the better option.

Sleeper/gjally and a high or very high impact sniper do the absolute most damage to warpriest (sleeper just edges the gjally), black spindle does less damage than either the event horizon sold 2 weeks ago or an eirene with triple tap, casket mag and clown cartridge paired with sniper reload gauntlets due to the amount of ammo you can bounce off his bonce, and still have time to empty your gjally/sleeper (more so if you have ophidian aspects on a warlock). Touch of malice using the blessing of light/weapons of light strategy WAS the outright winner by a mile but it's not viable anymore, honestly any high/very high impact sniper and a good mg (if sleeper/gjally isn't available for some reason) will be more than adequate to finish the fight with minimal problems.

Sleaper for warpriest. Spindle for golgy. No debate. Have a good day.
-
3 RepliesSleeper + decent sniper + raid gauntlets with fusion reload.
-
2 Replies78% of people have no idea what they're talking about. A full team of sleepers can solo phase him easily.
-
12 RepliesSleeper + 1kys with Triple Tap and anyone telling you otherwise is lying.
-
If you are using either one you can run with me.
-
Is it bad I don't have a sleeper yet?
-
Spindle does more damage per second but I think 12 sleeper shots does more damage overall. If you have a triple tap + casket mag sniper, I'd go with sleeper.
-
1 ReplyI use a sleeper and an LDR with oiled frame and spray and play. But some of the guys are using black spindle and I'm convinced they are vital to keep him staggering. Either way it works to take the big guy down in 1-2 rotations.

3 RepliesEdited by HSTRIP: 4/14/2017 1:42:15 AM-Spindle does more critical damage than sleeper (when you account for speed). -Sleeper does more non-critical damage than spindle. Can you hit all your critical shots on warpriest? The crit spot isn't nearly as big as golg. I'd go with sleeper as there is a lot more room for error- and it will still smoke him no problem. The same goes for Atheon.

3 RepliesSleeper simulant hands down. If u have a sniper that is good it does FAR better. I have a event horizon that is basically the same as spindle. I ALWAYS deal the most damage
-
Personally , sleeper and any high impact sniper with like last weeks event horizon. We one phased him with : Thethers weapons of light and warlock nades
-
Year 1 Khvostov, no contest!
-
The argument is over. Sleeper will top spindle for warpriest.
-
Spindle

Edited by Loginthebog: 4/13/2017 7:19:18 PMWrong sleeper is better because there is so much time you can switch to you ex machina and get of another 11 to 12 shots. Spindle is for golgi
-
2 RepliesHas anyone tried No Time To Explain damage alone on Warpriest? I wonder what the damage numbers would be for a single person using it... good thing I got all three exotics, I might try this one of these days.
-
If you go sleeper with Ex Machina, I think that's better than the spindle for Warpriest.
-
2 RepliesFor some illogical reason people don't seem to understand that when they recommend black spindle what they are recommending is 100% accuracy which is not realistic for a lot of people. If you don't have that accuracy you might as well be using an event horizon.
-
Sleeper Simulant does more damage than Black Spindle for warpriest
-
Black spindle if you've done it enough to hit crits every time
-
17 RepliesPersonally i'd say black spindle. The dps potential is just unrivalled.
-
Sleeper has higher damage potential but because of the time frame Spindle beats it in burst.

7 RepliesEdited by OurWildebeest: 4/13/2017 2:14:46 AMAn average player with a 400 Sleeper and extra heavy armor will do more damage than the world's best player with a 400 Spindle and extra special/sniper armor. This is assuming that when you run out of Sleeper ammo, you use a legendary sniper, and when you run out of Spindle ammo, you use a legendary heavy weapon. Warpriest happens to be the perfect use for Sleeper due to time and setup of the encounter.
