I pre ordered Destiny 2, therefore according to the self proclaimed "gaming industry experts" on this forum I've killed the entire gaming industry by simple pre ordering one game. Ask the gaming industry killer anything

Just so long as you don't think it's a waste right? Besides you didn't kill the gaming industry, it's the company that puts it out there this early that does it.

As much as I'd love to give you full credit I think indie developer "Hello Games" pretty much f@rted, tore apart and decimated on the gaming industry back in September last year. But hey...they're hiring if you're interested!

I've just preordered. When the Beta sucks, i'm going to cancel my preorder. Just as simple as that. Also i have seen that every copy of the limited edition is sold out, what really sucks arse, because some morons going to get 3 limited editions and stuff. It was the same with that Pipboy from Fallout.

3 RepliesI have a question that may make me seem like a elitist gaming expert but hear me out; Does massive amounts of people preordering a game let the developers have the ability to leave out content? Because it makes sense. They already have your money so they could leave out stuff because they already have their reward. For example, say I get paid early on a job and I am allowed to take the day off; am I gonna continue and work like any other day? No, because I already received the reward I was working for. Yes, people can refund or return the game, however, the majority of gamers buy games digitally, so they can't get their money back.

I'm gonna wait for the gameplay twitch stream. If the gameplay looks solid I will pre-order. If anything along the way makes me think twice, then I will cancel my pre-order.
