So let me get this straight, Bungie wants me to do a massive amount of things in Destiny, just to have to buy a t-shirt for $25 upon completion of the Age of Triumph Record Book as a reward? If we had gotten a special emblem/in-game reward for Destiny 2, I would have been very pleased, but having a t-shirt that we have to buy for even more money after putting in all that time feels like a slap in the face from Bungie. Anyone else agree, or is it just me?

1 ReplyHaha, didn't know this. This is VERY funny! It is like winning a game show and the host tells you that you're now allowed to buy the car. XD
-
1 ReplyDue to my own naivety I actually thought level 7 was an age of triumph rewards box. Didn't even realise it was to allow me to buy a tshirt.
-
Ill get the shirt if i complete it. Got the yr2 mot shirt and love it.
-
You don't have to buy the shirt. You can just not buy it and go along with your day.
-
1 ReplyIt's 100% Worthwhile. Having something to show in the real world is better than anything in game. Regardless of having to pay for it. And besides, it's worth three quarters of a million dollars!
-
It was a limited time offer. If you have a price on your shirt, and it did not come with the alpha code for D2, then you were too slow reaching rank 7.
-
The only thing I'm upset about is the shipping and the customization fee both about $5 each. That's $10 extra dollars. Still bought it because I've had a great time these past 3 years.
-
They basically want you to play for the privilege to buy their shirt. Fking pathetic.
-
Wow, If you've completed that book thing you deserve a free t-shirt considering how much money you've already given them 🤔
-
2 RepliesDude, if you're complaining about PHYSICAL memorabilia from Destiny costing $, then you really shouldn't post. I find this great. Go to Bungie Store. Is anything on that free? No, because it's made of real material, I have a New Monarchy shirt I bought from it, I didn't expect it to be free. If you really don't like the AoT shirt, just don't buy it. It's available IF you want it, not YOU HAVE to buy it. It's the perfect item to put at the end of a game because as Destiny 1 "ends" the shirt won't disappear like the game more than likely will.
-
Year 1 MoT reward was an emblem. Year 2 MoT rewards were shaders, emblems, and a shirt offer. AoT(Year 3 MoT) had emblems and a shirt offer. I honestly don't see the problem. I've done all of them and am happy with what it is. If anything, I should be complaining because there's no "complete all MoT" or "all book" rewards.

4 RepliesJust like the collectors edition of D2 😂 something more impressive than a bag would please me but for $350 AUD i aint getting that disaster...Get your shit together bungie
-
1 ReplyI think the t-shirt is a more worthwhile reward than an in game emblem. At least with a t-shirt you can keep it forever, and show it off anytime, anywhere. With an emblem, it'll most likely be stuck in Destiny 2, and would be gone and forgotten when Destiny 3 releases.
-
13 RepliesAnother strategy of revenue gathering for Bungie. I will not complete this book for that reason. It is bullshit.
-
5 RepliesThey aren't pocketing the majority of the money. It goes to their foundation. So before you cut to conclusions think where the money goes
-
1 ReplyMade it very easy for me to be honest now I don't have the slightest motivation to finish the book lol. It would have weighed on my mind to get it done but seeing the end reward ....nah I'm good
-
I'd rather have a discount code for destiny 2
-
Well done, give us cash muhahaha
-
I honestly thought you meant Attack on Titan when I saw this, i was like "What the ****?"
-
2 RepliesYou think a $25 is bad? Take a stroll over to the bungie store and see what's sold out. People pay over $100 for that dumb shit. Talking about that $125 foam hammer of sol.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Old Man Lawlor: 4/4/2017 7:32:43 AMThat's the reward?! A discount for a t-shirt?!
-
4 RepliesIs it a shirt that you can only get from Age of Triumph or is it just a discount?
-
Discount on destiny 2 is definitely better than a t shirt. Why waste time finish the book if nothing carry over to destiny 2.
-
2 RepliesLet me get this straight, you're butt hurt because the final reward is a t-shirt? Bungie announced this with the stream that showed the new armor. It's not a big deal at all. If you get this upset over having no obligation to play a game, or buy the t-shirt, you should probably take a look outside. Get the sand out of your clit and get the -blam!- over it.
-
Just don't bother with the pointless book.

7 RepliesEdited by James Z: 4/4/2017 6:30:29 AMIt's a fitting reward if you order the right size....Ba dum tiss But on the real, why are you crying? You want an emblem...For a game that may last 1 more year at most, and doesn't carry over to Destiny 2? Also, like you were gonna use it. All those other emblems you got from previous books, do you ACTUALLY use them? 1000 glimmer says you don't. You probably rotate between 3 at most.
