Very Disappointing Final Reward for the AoT Record Book
So let me get this straight, Bungie wants me to do a massive amount of things in Destiny, just to have to buy a t-shirt for $25 upon completion of the Age of Triumph Record Book as a reward? If we had gotten a special emblem/in-game reward for Destiny 2, I would have been very pleased, but having a t-shirt that we have to buy for even more money after putting in all that time feels like a slap in the face from Bungie. Anyone else agree, or is it just me?

You get all those fun looking emblems and you don't know if there's a special destiny two thing or not. So who knows maybe there will be maybe there won't be. Also I don't see bungie making you buy the t shirt it's only purpose is too allow you a special reward for completing the book

3 RepliesYes and you know what... I get so much shot from these cancerus fanboys of this game for even saying the end reward for your hard work is paying more money. They start ranting on how I should just play another game and shit to the point that even if I do like to play the game I yell "-blam!- your game it's a piece of garbage that belongs in the dumpster below the mounds of poop from zoo animals" idk why these fanboys defend it so hard it just brings me to my breaking point when they slander you for not liking a thing in their oh so precious game.

I'm not *expecting* it. But it would not surprise me. I'm burnt out on the game but I made sure to complete the book just in case.

It's just you. A t-shirt that benefits charity, with your gamertag/username on it?! Custom. Worth it. If you can afford it of course. Others are quite content with knowing you finished the book. After all, even without a tshirt offer, you don't get anything else out of it.

I have it on good authority that if you wear the shirt to your local supermarket you will be given 20% off the price of a packet of cheetos. A saving on average of 10 pence per packet. When you are 250 packets in, which by my estimation, should take most of the T-shirt brigade about 4 days, you will have broke even, and truly become legend.

Omg you don't have to buy the shirt at all. Just ignore it and focused on all the in-game stuff you get leading up to it.

Had a short discussion with my clanmates. Most don't like the end reward, mostly because of the fact that a lot of us don't want to buy the shirt. So yeah it's a slap in the face XD Nonetheless I want to complete the book, just to complete the book

There is no incentive to even complete the AoT book including not completing every single node. -blam Bungie. At this point, Bungie needs to focus on ensuring D2 is a complete game with an actual in-game story.

4 RepliesThey shoot free t-shirts at sporting events, so why couldn't Bungie give us a free, or at least cheap, t-shirt? $25 dollars is too steep of a price for a t-shirt that is supposed to be a reward.
