This is very helpful, but I'm not sure if Lapp's quest is even worthwhile. The twist that [spoiler]Lapp is Patches[/spoiler] is so lazy and bad it threatens to ruin the entire expansion for me.

Well, I understand where you are coming from. But it does give a new light on patches. He made it just as far as you, has lived for quite a while without hollowing apparently. He doesnt seem just like youre average scoundrel to me anymore. He has also outwitted us at every turn, multiple times. I dont know, im probably overthinking it a bit, but you cant deny Patches is a force to be reckoned with

What if patches kicked the real lapp off a cliff and then disguised as him after earthen peak?

Honestly, i think they used his character to further the idea of "dark good, light bad." As he's falling to the dark, going hollow, he is nicer. He wants to be a good person. But take that away, and the dickhead is back to his old kicking glory.

Funnily enough, Patches is probably one of the most resilient undead. He's managed to survive all of the cycles of fire, and only now if the final chapter did he even start to hollow. Sorta cool, but it doesn't make up for his kicking lol.

True. Hell, he even made it to bloodborne. Lol. Soon as i heard him (larp) say [spoiler]I'm unbreakable[/spoiler] i was like "no no no." Then the treasure comment, is like "well, gonna get kicked off the ledge." Do you know if you can find him after you get his armor?
