1.0 kd
This probably doesn't matter to anyone but me.
I've been playing destiny since year 1. Never really enjoyed the crucible as I got to the party late (more of an PvE kinda guy) I barely got year 1 thorn right before he became useless.
Anyway I finally got a first character (Hunter) to 1.0 k/d. The other two are still sub 1.0 but f@ck, that makes me happy.
Excited to play out he last few months before we are all off to D2.
Edit: honest "thank you" to all the positive comments and different perspectives on stats.
To the haters, if you live with your mom your comment is invalid. To the others, go f&ck yourself;-)

Hey kudos to you dude, but the important thing is to have fun when playing PvP and that's not always an easy thing to carry out. Once you've found the ideal & practical loadout for your class/subclass and practiced enough so that every game doesn't feel like a sweat match, you should be able to sit back and play with a certain calmness. Remembering also that this is just a game (some people take this game way too seriously) then you should be okay.

Dude, I feel it. I have all three just barely above 1.0, and I'm happy. Somehow, my warlock main isn't the highest one, but that's fine.

Congrats dude. I'm in that grind now. Started so bad in crucible & now am about to hit 1.0. Its definitely been a grind but a nice accomplishment none the less.

Listen K.D only matter for matchmaking. Here is what i go about. I tried to keep my k.d at 1.0 or slightly above. Reason why? I like to have fun not sweat every game. So when my k.d gets higher that what i needed to be i let my brother play. Then i am good again to 1.0 or 0.9. Believe me you dont want to play 2.0 kd players. Use the system cause everybody knows this is a skill based matchmaking. Oh and for the ones that will not agree with my theory. My single game most kills is at 62. Top 0.2 percent. So bite me..i know what i am talking about.

Grats I only played banner I'd say for a year( outside of pve), my kd was....BAD. It's taken forever to get above 1 kd, especially with. I guess libtard manipulation tricks( damage referee),MM. My warlock is slowly climbing above 1, my Titan and hunter are almost there. It's like your m.p.g. Real time gauge, it started off sooo bad, took forever to inch it up, lol. Last night I averaged around 2 kd or so on shaxx bounty clash. Might get .01 raise

Well played sir. Destiny is the best Ive done in an FPS, I had 1.45 before TTK came out. Keep at it, my K/D for Halo 2 was 0.6, then 0.8 for Halo 3. You will improve. If I had any advice for improving it, I would say defend hot spots and wait for people to come to you, rather than running around the map looking for others.

It took me 40k kills to go from a .4 to a 1.0. So I will drink some of that kool-aid you just made.

Congrats, I brought my kd up too from like 0.6. All I had to do was give a shit about crucible for a couple of months and find a weapon and play style that I was good with. Destiny pvp isn't all that difficult Imo, you just have to find a build and style that you're good with.

I tried to do that for my warlock but I sucked so much when I got this game I couldn't bring it up but .2. I just gave up and started a hunter. It currently has a 1.33.
