How I imagine players with no vault space

This is just what I imagine when I see people complaining they don't have enough vault space because they have all the old raid gear, exotics that you can buy back very easily, and weapons stored. Edit: I made trending! Thanks everyone (even the haters)!!

Exotics? Son, are you for real? Exotics? I wish I could final round you with my Spear or snipe you with my Felwinter's Lie, like in the good old days, so you can see why I've kept some of my Y1 guns. Maybe you'd like a nice LitC / Close and personal shotgun shot to the face? Or a full auto NL Shadow to the back? There are guns and perks on guns that don't exist anymore and I kept them because they used to tear people to bits in pvp. Other guns are just too iconic or mean something to me, so I kept them. Void Messenger, Solar Summoner, Red Hand IX, The Trolley Problem (my first legendary). Not to mention all the Y2 guns, especially the god roll vendor and armsday ones. Hung Jury, The Vacancy, Hawksaw, etc. My vault if full of memories and unobtainable tools of war. What's yours full of?

You have the lowest end game missions completion i have ever seen 1 x Vault of Glass NM 5 x Crota's End NM 1 x King's Fall NM 1 x King's Fall HM 2 x Wrath of Machine NM 1 x Skolas 25 x PoE 28 0 x PoE 32 1 x PoE 41 1 x CoE If you had a better understanding of the game, and most importantly, if you had been around since day one, you'd understand how difficult it was to get the weapons and armour from some activities, especially year 1. Now in year 3, some of the gear is either coming back as higher level or not at all. Based on these fact, your post is not worth much. Ever heard of the saying "forever 29"? Probably not. VoG was brutal on me and many people i know. The gear for it never dropped for me and i was constantly reduced to using vendor gear. So i'm sorry if you feel that we are hoarding our "old raid" gear but as i said you wouldn't understand the struggle, especially that you ONLY finished your first ever VoG 3 days ago. Get on par with the people who struggled for their gear and then you will understand why people like to keep their stuff. Dont forget Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner gear people may also like to keep. The link where i gathered all your stats from, so i dont get told i am making up these things http://destinytracker.com/destiny/pve/xbox/GrandStarkiller/2305843009370480031/raid To add to that, remember how many weapons are present in each end game activities Prison Of Elders Y1 4 x Primaries Weapons 3 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armour (all classes) Vault Of Glass 4 x Primaries Weapons 3 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armour (all classes) Crota's End 4 x Primaries Weapons 3 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armour (all classes) King's Fall 4 x Primaries Weapons 3 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armour (all classes) 9 x Artifacts (all classes) Wrath of the Machine 4 x Primaries Weapons 4 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armour (all classes) 6 x Artifacts (all classes) Trials Of Osiris Y1/Y2/Y3 12 x Primaries Weapons 9 x Special Weapons 6 x Heavy Weapons 45 x Armor (All Classes) Iron Banner Y1 Pre-Crota's End 4 x Primaries Weapons 3 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armor (all classes) Iron Banner Y1 Post-Crota's End 4 x Primaries Weapons 3 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armor (all classes) Iron Banner Y2 4 x Primaries Weapons 4 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armor (all classes) Iron Banner Y3 4 x Primaries Weapons 4 x Special Weapons 2 x Heavy Weapons 15 x Armor (all classes) So now factor in that each of these activities required grinding or luck, meaning potiential countless hours till your gear finally dropped, we have a total of Weapons 48 x Primaries 39 x Specials 24 x Heavy Armor 180 x Armour 15 x Artifacts End game alone between 3 years worth of gear has 306 items obtained through grinding, EXCLUDING exotics. Can my vault space accommodate all this gear? No! Sorry if i sound upset but as the game progresses, the vault space should accommodate the same number of space as there are weapons/armor in the game overall.

      • My only suggestion to people with full vaults is to come up with a different system that allows you to cover each aspect of Endgame PvE and PVP. The rest of the space is just a trophy case.

Why would you delete and buy back exotics? It's a complete waste of materials plus ornaments.

                  • In a game about collecting loot, I shouldn't be worried about where to store said loot. They made kiosks, and barely scratched the surface with them afterwards. As for Exotic Kiosks, they broke their own system by making quest lines to retrieve exotics that were already earned/xurned/rnJesus'd

                    • Sure, you can easily buy back exotics. But do they come at max light? No. So your argument doesn't hold any water. Why use resources multiple times to level the same weapon, if I already have it at 400? I have no old raid gear except two weapons, which I like to use in the crucible from time to time. Yet, my vault is nearly full. Granted, I have most exotics in there, as well as a host of other weapons. But that's because I actually like to use different things instead of pigeonholing myself. Bungie said we would have more vault space shortly after RoI was released. Yet, they didn't deliver. If they would just keep their empty promises to themselves, not as many people would be complaining.

What's it to you what other guardians want? What they want doesn't affect the way you play the game, so here is your reminder to stop being a Bungie brown nosing fanboy. Defending a developer you worship is not your job. Bungie now advertises heavily armor sets to market its product. Bungie promotes collecting as an activity in it's loot based game. If you don't see that you're either not paying attention or have an agenda to defend Bungie at the expense of other guardians. It's really nonsensical for players who don't care to engage in collecting armor sets to tell other players how to enjoy the game. It's a little righteous from my perspective. Let me remind you: while Bungie was promoting ROI, they said we would have more vault space. "not on Day 1, but after" is the exact quote. Not only did they not give use more vault space, they allocated development resources for creating a kiosk to facilitate silver dust and ornaments microtransactions as well as a holiday kiosk for the same reason. Since you want to talk about vault slots, let's look at all the armor sets Bungie is promoting for us to go out and get: Days of Iron set Archon's Forge set Wrath of Machine set King's Fall set The Dawning microtransactions set (2) TTK microtransactions set (2) The Dawning set from new weekly bounties Iron Banner set from TTK Iron Banner set from ROI Trials set from TTK Trials set from ROI Queens armor set House of Judgement set (COE/POE) Sublime set (ps4 (2)) SRL set New Monarchy set Dead Orbit set FWC set chroma set crucible set Vanguard set Strike specific loot armor Dusty Engrams (2 versions of Y1 IB sets per character) So if you want to talk about numbers, let's do that. That's 27 sets Bungie advertised as an activity while they asked us to spend money on their product. 27 sets X 3 Characters X 4 armor slots = 324 and that's just legendary armor. Doesn't even include exotics, weapons, all the new class items they added in ROI, ghosts, or artifacts. That doesn't even include situations most people use for guantlets for autos, pulses, snipers, handcannons, etc. Meanwhile, we get all these consumables through microtransactions and Bungie PURPOSELY gives us no quick way to discard them to conserve vault space. You know why? Because they want us to use them so that people will see us in the tower to help promote microtransactions for them. It's time to wake up and see what's happening. If you're not going to support other guardians don't come in here defending corporate greed.

                        • I have weapons I use situationally that stay in my vault. Pulling exotics constantly can get tedious and requires me going to the Tower, where in the vault I can pull it from the app. Not to mention I would have to level it up and infuse it up to 400 over and over. Some weapons can't just be picked up again, whether it be because it doesn't drop anymore or it's a "god roll". Crying about people upset over vault space is arguably one of the dumbest things I've seen here.

                        • I can appreciate the kiosks for exotics. But when you can't buy the ornaments...you can't delete the exotic. I can't bring myself to delete my old VoG gear or weapons either. Or some of my old Y1 weapons. Makes vault space very difficult to come by :/ what I wish you could delete? Those stupid snow globes and consumables which are hella annoying. Have so many :/
