Best perks for PVE scout rifle?
I'm looking to farm some vendor packages for a good scout for PVE, what do you guys think on perks? I currently have a "The Wounded" with Firefly, explosive rounds and some other stuff which is nice, but as I understand the explosive rounds sometimes cancels out the Firefly affect.
What's your idea of a perfect PVE scout?

Firefly + explosive rounds is my personal favourite combo...and no...exp rounds doesn't cancel the firefly effect to make much difference but exp rounds can make precision shots harder to get. Outlaw with the above combo works magic. Add an armour perk that increases reload speed on scouts and it's a monster.

Like many are saying the original hung jury is the best. Trials scout is good but more situational (eg it can 1 shot shanks so handy for Aksis fight). Tuonela is not bad, although a poor man's HJ.

Cryptic dragon with crowd control and firefly plus a good stability perk in the middle perk column. It had the most ammo of any mid impact scout, great base range, reload speed and stability, and has the best possible perk combinations.

Honestly depends on situation I don't high impact high cals to work wonders in situations with a lot of yellow bars But low impact fireflies for ad intensive stuff like thralls or taken psions

I use Chaos Dogma or my Keystone with Triple Tap, Explosive Rounds and Zen Moment. TTK Hung Jury is still an awesome option.

6 RepliesI like my cryptic dragon. Has firefly, explosive rounds and crowd control. So when firefly procs with crowd control it does work.

I always ran The vendor Hung Jury. Then I had a Hand of Judgement drop with Explosive Rounds, Perfect Balance and Crowd Control. Picked it up and never put it down.

I got the dead orbit one with firefly and outlaw. It's gangster.

You should have to look for one. Everything should be working across the entire board like y1 actually did. I guess capping y1 and nerfing everything continuously has given you that "variety" in PvE right?

Check my warlock. It is the best, in my opinion. I got it from the gunsmith. (Suros Dis47 with full auto and max. Stability)

Badger CCL, Crowd Control, High Caliber Rounds (or explosive rounds), and Reactive Reload. Cocytus, Triple tap, Extended mag (or Hand-laid Stock) and Firefly. The Wounded, Full Auto, Outlaw (or Triple Tap), and Firefly The 2 best scouts for DPS in TtK and RoI, excluding Dogma which is a different beast. Not Like The Others and Treads Upon Stars: Crowd Control, Disciplinary (or Will of Light), and Reactive Reload.
