the best option would be to lose your ammo for side arms and the side arms would act like normal, you would still spawn with ammo for your side arm but the bear minimum that it would usually spawn you in with if you had no ammo upon death.

That would work. Certainly I prefer my idea (of course) but I do like your thinking.

this is how i thought the ammo change was going to be but instead side arms are 100% not affected by the change. i use side arms since November, and i think being able to retain all side arm ammo upon death is a bit much. for the trespasser it would spawn you in with 36 bullets which is two clips. if you manage to get a kill reload and get the super burst then you would pretty much be out of ammo almost. the game doesnt spawn you with more ammo until you have none.
