Now that we've seen all the Raids well ever get to see in this release Destiny, which one was the hardest Raid you ever played? Why?

King's fall, nobody knows how to do Oryx.
-
For me it was VOG and Crota - mainly because of the bugs in the game. Like VOG Minotaurs that would regain their full health over and over. Or Atheon refusing to take damage, or being teleported while wrapped in a containment bubble and other fun things. With Crota, it was him jumping off the platform, running up the ramp, chasing people into the central Crystal room and beating us all to death. Or Crota reluctantly going down on one knee, then suddenly leaping up and killing the Sword Bearer - despite being hit by 5 to 10 Gjallhorn rounds and snipers. The only bugs I recall from Kings Fall was the Oryx Ogres suddenly teleporting forward if a grenade forced it back against a pillar, sometimes shade platforms not forming properly and dying if you jumped into the air when inside the shade dome after killing the shade and the bubble disappeared.

1 ReplySkolas, by a wide margin

3 RepliesKF because if you breathe wrong everyone wipes

5 RepliesOk, who the -blam!- voted for crota
-
2 RepliesProbably KF. But finding some one for VOG who could actually use the relic was very difficult. We were such noobs back then.

Skolas

Vault of glass for me took my team and i about 3 to 4 days to finish we didn't know what to do we didn't see no videos of how to do it we had to take a guess of what was the next step

6 RepliesEdited by Mr.Slendykins: 2/9/2017 12:26:17 AMCrota's End Heroic in its prime sheerly because it was rng reliant: -Heavy Ammo drops -Boomers -Corta harassing the sword guy -Swordbearer can -blam!- off into the room below the crystal and hide there -Accidental player death -Orge slammed in the room -Ogre killed someone unaware in the ogre room -Had a bad sword runner -Crota would get up too early sometimes -Cursed thrall -No shield/health regen other than helmets with perks, red death and suros regime Need I go on? And this was when this raid was hard, not now where you can solo it easily.
-
Crota's End on Heroic. If you were a day 1 player you would agree. No explanation needed

2 RepliesVault of Glass? Hard? Waaaaat.
-
Hardest in terms of fun and intended mechanics and difficulty was VoG. Hardest in terms of bullshit mechanics and repetitive garbage was Kings Fall. Want a description of King's Fall? Stand on plates. That's it. Apart from golgorath that's how I would describe that raid.
Disclosure: do not stand on your mother's fine china I'm not responsible for any ass beatings you may receive for standing on your mom's or wife's plates.
The hardest raid was vault of glass. The hardest raid to get COMPLETED would have to be kings fall. To many rage quitters if people fail the once .
-
probably Rallos Zek or Coirnav.
-
Kings Fall brought out feelings of rage in me so dark that it actually scared me. Golgoroth and The Juke of Oryx made me have to actually walk away for a minute or my head would have exploded.
-
2 RepliesHang on, you forgot a fifth option. I'll just go ahead and add it here. -Some generic Raid from World of Warcraft.
-
This is a hard one really because each run depends on a lot of different things. VoG - LL system was not your friend. The term forever 29 is a myth now but was very real for HM launch day. Mechanics were forgiving enough though that a full team of 30s could lose 1 or 2 and still get through. Crota - this was only hard because of the glitches. Their are still some there now (Crota followed me in to the crystal room 2 days ago!) but much improved. KF - Entirely reliant on the team knowing what they are doing. I don't know how many times I have wiped on the Totems, Golgoroth or Oryx because 1 person didn't know what to do. WotM - I think this is easiest up to Aksis Phase 2 which seems to have its fair share of people that just do their own thing. While that isn't a problem if you know about it... it is a pain in the arse when you think they are covering something that they end up not doing and you all wipe! For me personally... I would say Kings Fall took the longest for me to beat on hard mode just because I don't have a team to run with and relied on LFG team mates... which is never reliable.

1 ReplyAny raid normal, when are all the datto wannabes gonna realise they are learning the raid, stop huffing and puffing and get more new players into destiny
-
The most difficult, but probably the most fun for my team and I was King's Fall. I won't let the length of the raid sway me away from how fun we thought it was, like some people did. It was always so satisfying watching Oryx crumple up like a ball of tinfoil at the end. This is coming from someone who usually did aura on Warpriest, always ran gaze on 1-orb strat for Golgoroth and always was the runner for the Oryx Encounter. So you can safely say that I was usually in the heat of the battles, as well.

1 ReplyI can guarantee below me are a bunch of butthurt vog fgts
-
Kings Fall but only for the reason that I was trying to complete it on hard to finish the MoT. I had less than a a week to finish it and the majority of the time was spent trying to find teammates who wanted to play it. Haven't beaten WOTM yet, not even on normal, due to the same reason mentioned above.
-
5 RepliesHardest in difficulty? - Mechanical difficulty, Kings Fall Damage/crowd control - Rage Against the Machine Aksis can be a really horrible fight at times. Vosik heroic is, not my cup of tea when it comes to raid fights.
