Does the HUNG JURY SR4 DROP IN RISE OF IRON?
[b][i][u]As a year 3 400 light player, i have heard good things about this year two weapon, and am wondering if it is a possible drop from any source please help.[/u][/i][/b]

Wait for the Tuoenela order from the Gunsmith, pretty much a black Hung Jury, and wait for the Torch sight/Triple Tap/Extended Mag/Firefly roll. Other options include the Cryptic Dragon from Crucible, farming Rockets McDickface for Treads Upon Stars, and FWC's gun The Wounded.

No. You're too late. Besides, it's only a good gun with the right perks. There are other scouts that are just as good if not better. Get either of the Omolon scout rifles when the Gunsmith sells them. That's your closest chance.

Unless you have a disc version you're never getting one, no it doesn't drop from iron banner. I've got mine on my hunter, the real version...

Gunsmith Tuonela has better base stats. I used it Y2 more than the vendor HJ but HJ has a better magazine which can be useful for end-game stuff like raids, but you can work around that with perks. Basically the HJ is a custom Tuonela; good gun and can roll a variety of good options.

2 RepliesIf you have skeleton keys, play the shield brothers strike. The scout you get from the chest can drop with the same roll as the old Hung Jury. Got it in my vault.

Please just farm crucible for a good cryptic dragon and don't delete you stuff like some have mentioned.

5 RepliesIf you have the disk for destiny just delete rise if iron an go buy it from the vendor you can do that with all the dlcs to get the year 1&2 vendor guns. Also if you save engrams before you do it an turn them in after you delete dlcs youll get old dlc guns. Just reinstall the latest dlc once youve got the guns you want.

Most likely because i been getting year 2 vanguard weapons from legendary engrams so maybe if you get lucky hung jury will drop

You can always play Crucible and try to get a god roll Cryptic Dragon for PvE. Check out the one on my titan. I think it's better than the Hung Jury. For the Hung Jury to have almost max stability you have to have handlaid stock active instead of extended mag which would've boosted the mag to 20 from 16. The Cryptic Dragon comes standard with 19 bullets in the magazine. My Cryptic Dragon has Red Dot Oas, Triple Tap, Handlaid Stock, and Firefly.

I love that gun and was my go to primary for KF raid so I am very familiar with it. A gun in Y3 I got that is very close to that is the Cryptic Dragon on my Hunter with triple tap and firefly, just two less shots than the HJ.

2 RepliesUnfortunately you can't, anymore. But you can order Tuonela SR4 (same archetype and perk tree) from gunsmith and wait for a good (Hung Jury like) roll.

I believe you can only get it now through the glitch, of which I'm not sure if they patched. I have some hung jury plays here. Check it out and give it a bump 😁

The reason people talk about it is because of the perk set that the vendor sold. Even if you manage to get one of these scouts, the likelihood of you rolling the vendor roll or something even close is very slim. In all honesty though, there are only three types of scout rifle in destiny, the hung jury was in the 37/48 archetype, chasing after the name is fairly pointless, you can get the exact same scout from various sources. Treads upon stars (drops from any cabal strike), the wounded (can drop from fwc), cryptic dragon (can drop in crucible), burning eye (can drop in trials), Lethe noblesse (drop from CoE) ,Suros dis-43 and tuonela sr4 (both from gunsmith). I haven't looked at the hidden stats for the closest match, but if you want to at least get the feel of it try to get a tuonela as it is also an omolon weapon. Just in case you were interested the perks that make it so potent are triple tap and firefly.

18 RepliesThere's a YouTube video that shows you how to do this... Uninstall ROI, re-launch game, go to Dead Orbit with your 150 Legendary Marks and buy the vendor god roll... Then re-install ROI and continue on. I haven't seen it drop naturally in ROI though some TTK weapons still do.

2 RepliesBuy boatloads of primary engrams from the Cryptarchs. I've been getting bunches of JabberHakkes and other Year two Sidearms from the Special Engrams so it's logical that Primaries should work too. Just don't be disappointed if Rahool keeps eating your Legendary Marks. If you want proof, check my Warlock. I got that Sidearm 2 months ago, no lie. I never used Sidearms Year 2.
