      • I love how tons of people are worried about foreign retaliation and a decline in the U.S. economy. But most people here are worried about paying $63 or $66 for new games instead of $60. You guys are like the Walmart of gaming. Congratulations!

Can Trump withdraw from NAFTA? Nope. The executive branch has the power to negotiate treaties but a 2/3 majority of congress has to ratify a treaty. That means Trump can stop negotiating the TPP and indeed he did. It also means that Trump can negotiate trade deals, and he says he will. It does not mean that Trump can withdraw the US from NAFTA, because he can't. Also, don't forget the special interest in this fight, the so called "swamp". Plenty of US companies have a dog in this fight. [Update: I did a little research on this and there is a provision in NAFTA that lets any country give notice of withdrawal, but it is no clear that the executive has sole power to give notice and withdraw. Personally, I love me some avocados so I'd rather not find out.]

That sounds great! I wish game prices went up 10 years ago, then we wouldn't be in this overpriced dlc / micro transaction nonsense. But AAA games for the most part have been pretty terrible for the past 7 or so years lots of half assed games and over hyped crap. A good video game crash like what happened in 1983 in the US would do wonders in cleaning up this industry.

Better than staying in the TPP. That would mean harsher copyright laws, meaning gaming YouTubers and YouTubers in general would have their work become a copyright hell. Also, corporate whistleblowing would be very heavily punishable by law, so no more leaks.
