Who else is never gonna stop playing Destiny (until its complete life cycle has come to a close that is?)
The amount of players I've 'been through' with this game is getting stupid... I've made some great friends only to have lost them a year later.
Then made more friends, we beat Raids together, played Crucible together then lost them too!
I'm here, Beta vet (I was away for the Alpha, such a scrub right?) yet haven't found 1 lasting player here.

I haven't heard of anyone leaving because of that I feel like it's just the fact that there's no content right now. Destiny's a great game and I love to play it but I had to put it down and play other games but when new content comes out you bet your ass I'll be there

Ive loved Bungie since my mom brought home an apple IIci that came loaded with Marathon in the early 90s. I played the hell out of Halo in its day (i literally wore out 3 discs). Im a bungie fanboy for life. I picked up Destiny week 1, and Ive taken extended breaks. But i always come back. And ill be here til Bungie shutters its doors

Not a day 1 but I've never thought about quitting this game even through all the nerfs, 8-1 trials cards, 4 hour raid boss fights and general crucible lag

Played since beta on my Xbox got the game again so I could play with my gf on PS4(which she got me) and even after starting all over a second time it got a little meh. The only thing keeping me playing it longer is her till something actually happens in this game.

1 ReplyIt's the same recycled stuff since year two started, it has huge amounts of dry patches, this year there is already a massive dry patch. if they keep dropping the ball like this somebody else will pick it up and all the destiny players will go elsewhere, I myself I'm starting to lose faith in this game

From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right dick, we can punch through those defenses, take this bitch out and break her grip on Freehold

Don't get me wrong. Sometimes you just need a break. Go enjoy something different or new to add spice to your life. I love destiny with a passion equal to the passion of classic games. This game has a lot of potential. However, it's the first of its name, so we might be in the experimental stages of the game. Hopefully the 2nd game completely blows the first one out of the water. But until then, play in moderation, once you start getting angry and frustrated, that's a good time to get up and do something else for 10-30 minutes. Then come back to the game. Your much love and dedication to the game is admirable, but my fellow guardian, that passion must be kept in check or it will blind addiction.

Like the title of the thread, just don't like the body O.o.... I have many friends that have quit for many different reasons, or just take breaks and wait for the next content to drop. I know I've been playing less because I got everything I wanted already, so now I am waiting for more content.

Most definitely me! I gave up on pvp but pve is still fun as hell with friends. Pvp is a lot better in battlefield and such.

5 RepliesHere since day 1. Don't care what anyone says, Destiny has the best FPS PVP out there. If you disagree, you either suck or your on Xbox. If you suck that's okay, I'm no pro either. If you have an Xbox, get a PS4... way less cheaters. I heart you Destiny, I will never leave.

1 ReplyGame is shit, one would hope proper hit detection comes with destiny 2. But we all know it's going to get to the point where certain weapons and armor will only be obtainable through silver. Worst part of any videogame are blind fanboys, they all impede any form of progress.
