The amount of players I've 'been through' with this game is getting stupid... I've made some great friends only to have lost them a year later.
Then made more friends, we beat Raids together, played Crucible together then lost them too!
I'm here, Beta vet (I was away for the Alpha, such a scrub right?) yet haven't found 1 lasting player here.
Why y'all quittin pussies??? Oh no! Clever Dragon/Matador META got you making 'I quit' posts? Pussy!
Trials is too hard? I know, why don't you make an 'I quit' post, pussy!
Can't beat the Raid, I'm done! Quit pussy!!!!
In the imortal words of Scorpion..... Day 1 dedicated players, GET OVER HERE!

4 RepliesBeen playing since release and still playing. I love this game. I've seen friends come and go too. If you fancy playing I'm on most of the time. Add me. Not a kid btw. Lol
-
the problem is not the players but the game , it lacks content so logically players will move on as soon as they played everything , which can be usually achieved in a week or two when the content drops I'm waiting for a reason to continue playing ,but nothing has been even announced at this point
-
I thought i would but rise of iron really disappointed me. To much copy and paste

Sometimes destiny is like a finger flick to the balls it is a sharp pain at first and heals over time

Edited by mpuchar: 1/24/2017 9:25:49 AMI'll likely keep playing. Might take a break until d2 if i every get the raid ship and a fakebringer. (Likely never :-/ I would like to get a burning eye at some point as well
-
Still here, but it's getting hard. Just passing time with skeleton keys now looking for that perfect roll.
-
Edited by OldManSlippery: 1/24/2017 8:53:20 AMI'm a beta player. I've taken a lot of breaks but I always come back, mainly just for crucible though. I'm not the grindy type so pve gets old for me real fast. Hoping destiny 2 will fix that.
-
Day 1 here. Titan main, all 3 chatacters still in play.
-
Just taking a break for now, I heard destiny 2 will be for pc and of it is I will defiantly get it for pc as long as the player base is good
-
Got mine Christmas 2014 but I'll always be with destiny. Before destiny I had like 30 friends on psn now I'm sitting at around 150

Edited by BKL ComicalRat0: 1/24/2017 7:31:15 AMWell... You are what you eat. Been here since beta ;)
-
Day 1 player here. Only do IB and help some friends out with nightfalls. No patience and time for raids. If anybody needs help/ or just wants running strikes, story missions, nightfalls. Always willing to help!
-
Even though I played since October 2014, I won't stop playing this game. But taking a break from time to time is not bad :)
-
1 ReplyAfter two years I just stopped playing one day. The flavor was lost. I have all the god roll guns I can ever want, I've beaten every content and played every mission 100 times over. I bought The Division on xmas and now I'm playing that. Now I'm also looking forward to Ghos Recon Wildlands. Destiny can go take a long nap, until the sequel, for all I care.

4 RepliesDay 1 player here. Ashamed to be still playing the same game after telling my friends "I'm gonna quit" over 10 times, only to come back the next day and say the same thing, rinse, repeat...
-
Beta player here.
-
i love this game, i am a year one player and, this game never gets old, i play it every chance i get, just wish we didn't have to worry about vault space all the time
-
It lost its fun fact. Thats why im not into this game anymore. Of course there are a few more detailed facts why this game lost its fun fact. But i'll keep it simple
-
While I still would enjoy playing playing more Destiny, I have really enjoyed Titanfall 2 recently and the content available that I want to complete or repeat I have no incentive to do so along with our probable upcoming content drought.
-
Bungie nerfs everything we work hard to acquire and that puts a bad taste in most players mouths. Why play destiny should be what is asked.
-
Beta and ashamed for where this game once was to where it is now.
-
2 RepliesLol... you try way to hard to make it sound impressive that you play one game. I'm a day one vet. thats been around since beta as well, however I take breaks when I obtain everything I've needed to obtain, I currently have everything you can get sans a few things I could care less about, but everything important I obtained and as thus I'll be taking a break until the next update. Resident Evil 7 launches in like an hour, so I'll likely play that until the spring update... if VOG returns then I'll likely play straight through to Destiny 2, but seriously though understand people play this game for different reasons, not to be your friend and pointlessly shoot things for the 100th time.
-
I'm never quitting but I will take breaks. It's easy to burn out on even your favorite games. It's a good idea to take breaks and play other games.
-
Not much content these days i will definitely be here the second new content arrives but until then I'll be playing other games
-
I haven't heard of anyone leaving because of that I feel like it's just the fact that there's no content right now. Destiny's a great game and I love to play it but I had to put it down and play other games but when new content comes out you bet your ass I'll be there
