Seriously why does clever dragon have it if mida had it taken away, and you can get it on distant star and other scout rifles
-
1 ReplyMida, even without HCR, is one of the absolute best weapons in the game - maybe the best. It simply doesn't need HCR.
-
5 RepliesI'd just like to see high caliber rounds removed full stop. You are at a disadvantage if you're opponent has them and you don't.
-
1 ReplyIt's an Exotic Scout Rifle that makes you move faster and has long range with a Reliable 4 headshot kill with a 21 round mag, now you want to add more perks to a set list? Leave it alone Destiny 2 will be here soon and you can find your new crutch gun to carry you through ToO and IB if they come back. Ps. Not hating the gun just the meta in this game I was in the HC meta forever with the Devil You Know but year 2 basically said thats not gonna work anymore to me. So went back to Auto rifles and boy are they a big surprise to people I did a game of IB and did 35 and 7 with the Khvostov.

I got a distant star and it's better then the mida in my opinion

Edited by Kone19ps: 1/20/2017 10:04:32 PMNo. MIDA is fine. The things stupid aim assist still lets it shoot around corners. You move faster and aim faster and have third eye to get the first move. Move. Do what the perks actually say to do and you beat high caliber rounds. Geez do people just want one OP weapon they don't even have to stay out of the open to use
-
3 RepliesThe reason mida was so high used back in that time period a while ago was becaue that was the time where snipers dominated 3s, so everyone used it as a counter. Mida wasn't op, it was overused.
-
Seriously. . . Mida is strong as is and not to say over used just as Clever.
-
MIDA is a stupidly good gun even without HC. Clever dragon is overpowered on its own without HC. Giving MIDA any more strength is a terrible idea.
-
This again. It been my primary for most of this iron banner it's fine.
-
1 ReplyYear 1 MIDA. No one noticed. Year 2 MIDA. Everyone loses their minds!!
-
3 Repliesgo die in a corner, you pathetic little crap
-
I think it's fine where it is now. It's cd that needs it removing or sorting out.
-
5 RepliesDo you want an ice cream too? I like chocolate flavor. On a serious note, bungie dont care, they just nerf everything to the ground.
-
its going to be removed from the clever cancer soon.
-
Sounds good to me. The thing I find most interesting is that Mida was never an OP gun even with HCR, it just got popular for combating Snipers and had a few people on here whining so it got nerfed. While they're at it, how about they buff AR's and get rid of bloom too?
-
2 RepliesThey put HCR on MIDA because people weren't using it, then removed it because people were using it.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 1/20/2017 10:15:17 PMFor one, Clever Dragon didn't exist when MIDA was changed so nobody could predict its popularity. Also high caliber rounds were an intrinsic perk on MIDA whereas it's a random perk on Clever Dragons. Secondly, pulse rifles weren't being used as much as scout rifles, especially not MIDA, when they made that change. So the goal then was to make pulse rifles in general more useful. Mission succeeded. Lastly, MIDA still gets used to great effect even without high caliber rounds. I use it and I've been seeing others using it throughout IB. What's certain is that MIDA shouldn't be the one and only choice against the Clever Dragon, nor do we need those two weapons to be the only ideal choices in PvP. So instead of trying to make an already good weapon that still competes more powerful than one meta weapon, we should be looking at making unused and less used weapons more competitive. And they should really consider how to balance things well across PvE and PvP (maybe look at how effective weapons are against PvE enemies instead of just looking at weapon changes) or really separate balances between the two.
-
It really needs it in pve. If they knew how to separate things. buff it's minion of the darkness flinch rate but not it's guardian flinch rate.
-
1 ReplyHell yes!!!!!! Bungie's stupidity hard at work!!!
-
1 ReplyEdited by XxFILOVIRIDAExX: 1/19/2017 3:53:59 PMPlease I won't ever have to touch a pulse rifle again. HCR are only useful engaging snipers. I like running down sniper lanes.
-
1 ReplyOh no, just no
-
1 ReplyBungie pls listen to this guy
-
2 RepliesIts because of the whiny assholes that complained about it just like they are doing with the clever dragon. I agree bring it back.
-
4 RepliesAnd give hawkmoon send it again.
-
1 ReplyI do miss it's effect on enemies
-
2 RepliesToo many people complained. Now MIDA has gone the way of TLW
