Bounties should be daily, and the weapons/gear should be available as a selection, not RnG drops...same goes for all the factions. Let the Guardian choose the rewards. In Destiny 2, I hope RnG is removed completely...

Edited by SamSu916: 12/14/2016 9:35:46 AMRNG should never be removed completely in a loot based game. RNG also makes things much more rewarding once you get them. However money based RNG should be significantly reduced as it's essentially a way around online gambling.

Edited by RushMinion: 12/14/2016 8:46:15 AMYes right and a kiosk where you can buy every item from destiny for 25 silver so grab youre money buy silver and you even dont must play the game and get everything in one day. People its a game something you get today and something next month or two.Wheres the chalenge then if you dont must do for the stuff something but go and buy it or do 30 bounties a week.I think its better so like its now.GG And RNG?Yeah sometimes its a beast but because of this its called RNG.And i think everyone is luckier when he get a drop he wanted for long time.Maybe today, next week or next month GOOD LUCK

Nah. I like the RNG they have in place now. Without RNG the game would be stale. Just go do this thing and you get this item and that's all the game is. It would get old so fast.

I think they need enhanced rng. I should be able to get any perk on any gun. Guns themselves should go through an aesthetic rng. Bungie takes stocks, barrels, clip designs, and throw that into rng. Just have a shit load of designs for each part, then when I get a gun I can name it whatever I want and the look of it will be completely unique to someone else. Then they need to separate pve and Pvp. Weapons you acquire have 2 stat screens. One for pve and another for Pvp. Just press a button in the menu to switch between the 2. Give them levels In Pvp, levels will give the gun perks. The perks would be similar to how they are now. It would go like this Common- max lvl: 1 Uncommon- max lvl: 2 Rare- max lvl: 3 Legendary- max lvl: 4 Exotic- max lvl: 5 Combat sights and scopes do not count, so getting the common to lvl 1 will give the gun 1 random perk of 3(or 5) that you choose, plus it's sights. Here is pve's solution. You really can't have an op weapon that the enemies would complain about right? If we get stronger guns then Bungie can give us much stronger enemies and bosses. Give pve weapon levels as well. But better: Common- max lvl: 10 Uncommon- max lvl: 20 Rare- max lvl: 30 Legendary- max lvl: 40 Exotics- max lvl: 50 Each level will give you a point(or multiple points maybe), and each point can be used to boost a stat of the gun. From fire rate down to magazine size. Every tenth level will not give a point, but net you a random perk of 3(or 5) that you choose. Once level 50 is unlocked for the exotic, you will unlock the exotic perk. Idk if they would want to let you pick the perk or give you a set of 3(or 5) to choose from. Obviously the higher tiered weapons would be better because they have more enhancements. It would certainly separate the tiers more and give a reason to use exotics. Also once ANY tiered weapon reaches max level you can give it a weapon shader. Sry for long post

This. We need to beg for this so I can build a gun with garbage range but great rof, impact, and stability that takes like a minute to reload the 5 rounds in its mag. I would use the hell out of it.
-
That would be an interesting gunsmith idea. You get a base white in whatever archetype you chose and as you level up you can edit the other stats like reload, range, etc. As you level it up you get to choose the perks yourself. Would give you a reason to use the gunsmith and spend whatever currency. You can also make it so you need to dismantle weapons that already have that perk. For example if you want to add firefly, you'll need to dismantle 3 guns that have it already to get the firefly part for your gun.

This is a pretty good idea on weapon progression. Such a shame that bungie doesn't want us to keep using old guns. *cough cough* fatebringer *ahem*
it was a neat gun, but I had a few other hand cannons I would of rather kept using.
If anything we need more RNG, especially on exotics, because that seems to be why they were able to actually make good ones in year 1.
-
Scarcity and weapon effectiveness are not connected in any way in this game. Aside from the ever dwindling supply of year one xerces-c's with focus fire. Good stats and perks make a good weapon really good. Not how rare it is to find.
-
xerxes-c with Focus Fire? that's a green machine gun right? i think I have one in my vault

-
ah yes i remember that. it can 2-tap in crucible iirc

Edited by Elron Cupboard: 12/13/2016 6:04:58 PMYour logic only has arguement against it. Notice how when exotics were extremely hard to get, they were much better? Now that exotics take no special effort to get, they are rarely even worth using over legendaries and there are only 2 exceptions that aren't from year 1 (sleeper and dark drinker).
I didn't count black spindle as an exception because it's a y1 gun made into an exotic in y2.
If you are referring to the ghorn, which was sold in the second week that any day one player would of been able to afford (I could, but I already had an icebreaker) as well as near the end of Y1 before having its effectiveness reduced as well as the Vex mythoclast, which while still relatively hard to obtain, being reduced to a slim percentage that you can try for 3 times a week at most without remaking characters. While the vex is still quite rare, it isn't used very much due to it performing rather poorly compared to how it originally worked.

Edited by Elron Cupboard: 12/13/2016 6:14:34 PMGhorn, ice breaker, mida, tlw, thorn, vex, the list goes on. Truth, hawkmoon, red death, suros, pocket infinity, SGA, all amzing weapons.
