So, someone hacked into my Xbox account and deleted all 3 of my characters and gear. I've been trying to get it back. Does anyone have someone I can contact to get my stuff back. Thank You.
Edit 1: Guess I'm just gonna have to restart. unless bungie wants to hook me up with 3 level 40 sparks of light. :)
Edit 2: For all of you saying that I paid for a trials carry. I actually didnt. Ive done trials maybe 3 or 4 times and have had good runs most of the time. So if your just going to be an ass. Stop posting here.

Edited by BACTERIA SOUR: 12/11/2016 3:07:11 PMDid you pay for a lighthouse carry, raid, or miscellaneous quests and do an account recovery? If not fine, but for others reading this, this is why it's a foolish idea to do account recoveries with strangers. Not only can they screw your account, they can also have a friend siphoning personal info from your email or other sources while the guy you paid is running your account. 45-60 minutes is a long time to give someone access to your account/s. Hell, they could even change settings that allow a back door into your private info or possibly steal your account altogether (depending on your current settings). If you're going to pay or do a raffle for lighthouse, raids, or whatever, never evvvvvver give them access to your account. I know a lot of people close to my age or possibly older already know this but for those who don't, be wary of account recoveries. Make sure you run your own account and have them actually carry you through whatever task you're set on completing. Edit: TL;DR: Don't do account recoveries, they can have a friend go through your info while running your account.

Did you just break up with or seriously tick off your significant other?

"A friend came over and deleted it." Why? What reason did he give for doing this? There are two possibilities for this type of post. You're either a horrible judge of character and need to seriously consider your choice of "friends", or this is a sympathy post that's looking for attention. Either way it's been done to death over the years. You've been on these forums for over 18 months, so you've no doubt seen posts like yours. Lesson one. Budgie doesn't give you ANYTHING back you deleted, so why are you asking? Lesson two. Those other guys posting about "things lost" didn't get much sympathy, mostly because they, too, stated they were "hacked". You didn't tell the truth until much further down. Why not just speak the truth to start this post? Or better yet, not waste forum space lying? Have a nice day.

1 ReplyShouldn't have payed for someone to win trials on your account.
-
Didn't come clean on that Trials carry when that guy ran on your account? Mmm hhmmmm.
-
42 RepliesHow did you get hacked? In order to access your account, someone must have had access to your system, or you told them your login credentials. That, or your password is painfully obvious. Either way, it's on you. Bungie does not recover lost content under any circumstance.

Edited by Percivle: 12/11/2016 7:52:36 AMNot hacking from what I saw, but I would set up a password so that you have to put something in to access your account. Then don't share the password. And finally, drop that scumbag who did this.
I don't condone revenge, but you aren't me ;)
when you say you were hacked because you're too embarrassed to admit you paid someone to go flawless on your account

Unless they were incredibly thorough, you should still have the heat in your vault, which remains whether you delete your characters or not, and it is certain that you have retained anything that you can get at a kiosk. You may have lost all of your best gear, but you can gain legendary marks quickly to buy the better vendor gear, such as the crucible vendor event horizon and palindrome. For now, as long as you get a character to level 40, you should be able to get the key items back, such as event shaders and emblems, rare ships, and every exotic you owned.

Same thing happened to me. That is when I switched to Playstation. I guess it was the motivation I needed to switch haha
