My point is that a game cannot have everything. Bungie is endeavoring to give us (you anyway; I'm on legacy) a better, richer, more varied Destiny experience, and free of charge and all you do is bitch.
And for those too clueless to realize on their own. NO, I do NOT want giant zombie schlongs added to the game. I was just making a point.
Well, maybe some things. And don't get me started on Festival of the Cost.
Of course, if I was bombarded by insults from a legion of insatiable and entitled players every time I tried to do something for them, I'd probably want to screw with them too.
*Sigh*
People want Sunsingers nerfed.
Bungie says: "We'll nerf them a little, but nerfing them more would destroy the class."
People wail that they didn't nerf Sunsingers enough. They demand that Firebolt be nerfed.
Bungie nerfs Firebolt.
People say"You just destroyed Sunsingers! How dare you."
Bungie does a facepalm.
People wanted the Gjallie back. Bungie brought it back.
People wanted Thorn back. Bungie did that.
People said, you know, an exotic version of that Khvostov you get early on would be real cool.
Bungie said, "you're right. here it is."
People said now we want Ice Breaker back.
Bungie's about to bring back Ice Breaker.
People said: "Whatever happened to that old Solar Thunderlord?"
Bungie says: "It's coming. And Voidlord too."
People say "It's just reskins of existing weapons."
Bungie does another facepalm.
Maybe my perspective is different because I've been excluded from all new content since August, but... it seems to me like Bungie is doing what you say will make you happy, but it's not making you happy. Maybe the problem here is closer to home than you guys realize.
The problem is the if deal bungie makes about certain things. And the way bungie nerfs things.
People only really wanted firebolt nerfed and maybe a few tweaks to self revive, which bungie did. Only problem being those are the only two redeeming factors of that subclass. Does bungie improve anything else? Nope, just nerfed it.
Bungie makes a big deal about all these year one weapons "coming back" when in reality it should be something that's already implemented, and not something that comes with some update.
Owned nothing, Beavis. I've regularly been one of Bungie's most outspoken critics. When they dumped legacy, for example (lot of good that did, given that most of the players were ready to toddle up to Bellevue and suck them off). And I REALLY unloaded on them after Festival of the Cost.
There's a difference between expecting fair treatment and being a spoiled brat.
