The Community has to be happy now!!!
Come on guys, we've got to be happy with what is coming with The Dawning!!
It's far more than what we were expecting. Bungie have tweaked things further to make us happy:
Along with the TWO new exotics, and the updated Year 1 Ice Breaker, we're getting three reworked Strikes, SRL and a new point scoring strike system.
AND...
If you're Level 40, green engrams automatically convert to weapon and armour materials on pickup!
AND...
The drop rate has increased for Skeleton Keys PLUS on your first completion of the Nightfall you will be rewarded one!!
AND...
If you accidentally deleted your Class specific Gunsmith Rank 2 weapon, these can now be repurchased!!!
AND....
We have the chance to get the best looking gear ever IMO!!!!
I'm excited for this event!!!

Thanks for the laughs mate. Whether u are a hater or fanboy this post will make u laugh as it captures exactly what's wrong with this game in general. Destiny apparently had 25mil users across all the platforms in y1. Lets be conservative and say that there are really 10mils and marketing hyped it and we lost old gen players (I know it's wrong assumption but keep reading). So Bungie has done everything here to make a 10 mil people happy given that they already had 25mil happy players 2 years ago and they have been working hard to get rid of them over the last couple of years. I just don't see why they would do it and spoil all their hard work.

2 RepliesOther than strike scoring, all of this should have never been a "thing" to begin with, that they could introduce as new or "reworked" for additional content. Year 1 exotics should be infusable (as all legendary gear has been for all of Year 2-3) Strikes should never have been removed from strike playlist. SRL is welcome, but why would it go away? Skeleton key drop rates were a problem, this is a solution to a problem they created. Am I happy? Sure. But why should we not have these things under normal circumstances? Is there a special "oh shit" committee that recognizes things they've done wrong that found these issues and offered up solutions? I think none of this would have even been an issue if they actually play their own game. I'll never fully understand why Year 1-2 raids don't drop infusable gear. Elemental primaries? So what - if you infuse beyond Year 1 light elements dismantle. All other special and heavy weapons, along with all armor would be unaffected. So they drop at Year 1 levels so as not to make new strike worthless... infusable gear would reward guardians for their time/effort. Why is this so hard?

Well im excited too. I also want to make myself broke again with all the new ingame purchases. In fact i cant wait until i have to spend $50 bucks for some warlock armor.
