My son was gaming and all of a sudden, the person he was playing against (Madden 17) started swearing at him through the TV speakers. They weren't friends or anything. How can I stop this?

2 RepliesYou have to create him a sub account on your account. I looked at the standard parental controls, and there isn't an option to block voice chat. If you create him a sub account there is. Go to parental controls on the main profile. And then sub account management. Create him a sub account linked to your account, and then you should be good. I also found this link. Us.playstation.com/parentalcontrols Good luck buddy.

Thanks! That's kind of lame. A global block would be nice

On PS4 you can block people which will filter out all voice chat communication of theirs.

Muting the player using the in-game chat feature... I think there might be a parental control feature that automatically blocks voice chat. It might have been an Xbox feature, but it's worth a shot.
