Stop telling me how you think I should be playing.
I was playing some casual PvP today. I didn't want to put myself in loads of sweaty situations, just chill and blast some people using either my NLB or Elevating Vision.
I had one player, in a game, send me a lengthy series of voice messages filled with profanity and suggestions of how I should play the game.
I appreciate your opinion that I should "Stop being a filthy scrub and use a f*****g real primary like Clever Dragon" but to be frankly honest... I couldn't give a damn what YOU think I should use. I paid for this game, the same as you. I have every right to use whatever guns/setup I want without some sweaty douche bag, flying around with their Juggernaut/Twilight Garrison/Matador 64 with maxed out range, telling me what I should be running.
I didn't do particularly well, it's just that my play style countered theirs pretty well. I'm pretty hella average at Destiny. I wasn't pulling off any crazy snipes or massive long range kills with my fusion either. I just play the game and I get smack talk from people like this. I know not everyone is like this but it just riles me when the few are like this.
Some people in this community are such bloody elitists. Also, I doubt that you do work for Microsoft and you are going to "get my ass banned" through mass reporting with your friend.

I usually sit there and wait till they say either racist or kys type comments and hit them with that crispy report nothing better then watching those kind of players getting there psn or gtags temp banned

I read about situations like this quite a bit on these forums. I'm a casual PVP player myself and I've played Destiny since the beta. Not once have I ever gotten hate mail from PVP. Recently moved on from Destiny and started playing Uncharted 4 multiplayer and literally the first match I finished, I received hate mail. Like wtf?!

simple thing if person does that , just mute them and block them on any the systems and move on , there plenty of good people out there. You might need find them from other games , but there is a lot out there. if your doing there forums , You got to becarefull, it like old pc days , trolls and phishers, , a lot bad apples, but you might find great people also on there.

Same amount of good players on both, but way more shit players! Speaking purely about pvp, on PS4 reason being you have exclusive strikes, and other gay things that bring the gays and make the PS4 streamers most of which migrated from xB1 b/c it's way easier to appear as a god on PS4 don't believe me watch twitch. Watch kraft complain about lag being the reason he can't complete a card on xB1, watch LAb stay on PS4 the whole weekend, to prevent the never reaching the lighthouse on xb1. All of these are true I play and carry both, I can double carry on PS4 and need a carry partner on xb1. Also my kd almost doubles on PlayStation, like I said kids don't even shoot back.

I lost a match in IB today where we were 16000 vs 9000 at one stage and lost by 150 points in end. It's the only time I wished I could tell those randoms on my team to play with both hands on the controller.

2 RepliesSome people are just raging losers. Just last night, me and 2 friends were playing trials of Osiris. We came up against a team with much better stats (we checked them out on destinytrials reports. Com as we were flying in to the match). Anyways we were losing 4-1 when we all just started playing the game of our lives. Long story short, we won 5-4. I messaged one of their team afterwards saying "GG" to which he replied "shut up virgin!". I did laugh but I felt sad for the guy too.

Dude high five for having fun and not using the same 3 guns everyone else does. It's a game, it's supposed to be fun, and I can understand the desire to play to your full potential and exploit every possible way to win, but when it becomes all you care about then I honestly don't see the point in playing. Honestly I have more fun getting clips killing and winning with unconventional weapons than the current meta weapons. I don't like getting cheap kills, I don't think I learn anything about playing crucible if I'm always making it easy on myself also. It's funny, so many people preach about the weapon metas being broken, but they use them too. Watch some streams of really good players, yeah, they'll use meta weapons in trials doing carries and stuff, but you can put anything in their hands and they usually come out on top. Long story short, don't let the people in this game that make this community a negative place impact how you play, it's your game too.
