1 ReplyI feel like this post originally said something stupid and OP got wrecked so he edited. Am I right?

3 RepliesHigh elo is not something that can realistically be achieved without winning against good players. And when you have high elo it's severely punished by losses. Earlier I did a single carry where we won 6 straight, lost 1, then won for the flawless. That 1 loss outweighed all those wins & I ended up losing 2 elo over the card.

Edited by MSR9889: 11/19/2016 8:49:22 PMPeople can say k/d and elo don't matter but if you have to choose between a random 1.0 and a random 1.4, absolutely everyone is going to pick the 1.4. Stop kidding yourself.

3 RepliesLmao @ 1800 in 2-3 matches. GG bro. Not even if you beat the top 3 ELO players 3 times in a row.

Edited by Raider TCK: 11/21/2016 1:58:44 AMA few misconceptions here. Firstly, Elo isn't perfect. But a fairly good indicator of how good you are and how you stack up as a team. Also, Elo farming really doesn't work if you aren't any good. If you beat a bad team with 1,000~ Elo each and your team is individually over 1,500 each the odds are HEAVILY in your favour as it's a 3,000 total Elo team vs a 4,500 Elo. So you only get a few points for beating them. If a team with much less Elo beat you they will take hundreds of points and wipe out weeks of farming. I got a huge boost to my Elo a few weeks ago beating a team who were constantly resetting their cards at 3 wins so they got into the high 1600's where as my team was in the 1300s-1400s. They had just been farming 1000 Elo teams and when we beat them we probably undid 30-40 hours of farming. The only way to get a 2,000+ Elo is to either literally never loose or carry really bad players to drastically drop your teams average Elo. I was able to break into diamond tier Elo this week (1700+) by carrying someone with a 0.14kd and 1000 Elo flawless which drastically dropped my teams Elo, along with our chances of winning.

1 ReplyNeed 1 for trials be experienced and have a mic
-
3 RepliesIf you want to see if someone is really bad, compare TOO stats to Elimination stats.
-
6 RepliesGood luck getting to 1800 elo as a bad player
-
2 RepliesI suck at trials but I've been to the lighthouse close to 30 times. Because my one friend is really good and carries us. I reported him the one week for being unfriendly because we didn't make it. Lmao

Each to their own I guess; played today and my requirements were as follows
. Looking for a scrub team to play trials, looking to do bounties and complete record book. If you're not bothered about getting stomped then send me an invite ( GT same as above) Stats are as follows : Titan level 400 Age...43 Location...UK K/D.....lets just move on....seriously ELO....evil woman is my favourite track of theirs Call outs...."he's over there"...check Sweat level.....bone dry Have played before.....a couple of times in Y2 and last week, even got a couple of kills last time too; Have asked my son to help but he just laughed....little shit Please only invite if you're of a relaxed constitution as my play style may infuriate some i.e.....die a lot If I'm your kind of player then hit me up but remember...........I'm crap Big shout out to GDAWG & Mr Chow who helped with the bounties last week, that was a blast and thanks again lads; we got our asses handed to us but was fun.
1 ReplyMy post always is something like this: Looking for (a) good and friendly player(s) for 7 wins, gold bounty and optional flawless ( ) depending on if I'm alone or with a friend. Never met a douchebag person or bad player this way. I don't check stats and don't care if you whisper me your ELO or whatsoever. I just invite the first one to msg me. We always try to stay calm, but also be focused when we need to. A good laugh is also worth a lot to me and it's even better when we share a laugh. On Inferno Cauldron when me and a friend played as Juggernaut Titans, we ran into each other and both of us got scared, fired one shotgun shot followed by a melee until we realized it's us. And on Inferno Anomaly, I tried to take heavy with my sword, but an enemy was quicker. He already took some damage from a team mate. So, he took heavy, and then got killed by my sword hilt. 😂 Two weeks ago we almost went flawless. Now that First Light is over, I'm sure I'll look for some players during the weekend. Sorry for drifting off with those little stories.

i hate trails wish instead of elimination it was skirmish fastest to 1000 points or something. i just choke thinking i must not die and loose focus guess i just need more practice if i want those new trails gear and guns.

11 RepliesSo how does this stack up to titan fall 2 which has no stat tracking whatsoever? I personally feel the titan fall community is better. But if it's due to a lack of Stats I know not.

1 ReplyHow do I find my Elo?

Wrong

Edited by Powermix24: 11/20/2016 6:54:35 AMHow can you Justify K/D in Trials , when all it really is about how low can your internet GO! and succeed to the lighthouse . so if we get matched up with foreign lobbies that pomp stop us all day , the community's response is "Get Good" . That's when you go out buy a new game and forget about this one. ELO is not Official and is not on BUNGIE.NET . Till then , all it is some bullshit made up number that people can Farm from 0-3 or 0-5 wins over and over till they get the results they looking for . Trials players are just BAD Gamers at other REAL competitive games . And yes just started a War with the Bungie warriors . come at me . FInal Edit : i'm not mad a Bungie or Deej . I'm just fed up with these narcissists that cheat and exploit games for the gain of something that really doesn't exist .

1 ReplyHere we go again... Justification of a bad k/d lol
-
Most good players check a person's week to week k/d like so far this week I've maintained a 1.5. So if you're bad week to week then you're just a bad player.
-
2 RepliesI hope I play against you in trials sometime. I love easy wins
-
3 Replies
I would like to let the community know that k/d and Elo mean absolutely nothing. I could start a new character and play about 2-3 matches, be complete trash, but have a 1.8-2 k/d because of it and an 1800 elo, but I would still be a bad player. We trust a website and a stupid proportion too much for this game. I have seen a lot of people exploiting this system in the same way I just described, yet people believe that they are better players than those of us who are in reality much better, but have a lower k/d. Thank you if you read all of this, I truly appreciate it.
My elo is bad and I flawlessed over a 100 times sometimes you gotta die to win;)
-
2nd team almost beat us but we caught them cheating
-
Agreed. My team and I made it to the finals in the Farcog tourney and our stats aren't good but we played and beat 2 stat wise, very good teams
-
Whay food elo
-
"Good" often times is relative to a teams play style as a whole. A good player in my opinion can communicate effectively and play smart at the same time. What I mean by that is having the ability to make sure your teammates are aware of the moves you are making and planning to make so they can respond accordingly. For example: Warning your teammates that you plan to use your super to take out the last two enemy players before hand can prevent a double super use by you and another teammate, saving a valuable super for another round.
-
I don't care for k/d either. I only play trials for the gear, bounties, the book, and to t-bag. Otherwise, the competitiveness of ToO is stale and doesn't have much incentive. A few more rounds of trials and I'll be done with this mode.

15 RepliesYou obviously don't know how ELO works if you think a new character could have 1800 after a handful of games. Suspect a low kd player complaining... Checked stats Theory checks out. Conclusion. Get gud
