This is the first time in Destiny that I've had the 'wait for review' feeling. That Halloween shit was such a let down and I remember the last SRL was $9.99 for the book and all you got were extremely pointless things.
I just worry.. But I guess we will find out soon.

I'm not worried that it will be, I'm certain it will be. It's not even on my calendar. Next destiny event will hopefully be some kind of update in April.

Edited by Paragon: 11/18/2016 1:18:04 PMBungie the developer that lies and tries to milk it's players every chance it can get. Can't wait to see what they do with Destiny 2.
-
I don't care spend if you like , I'd prefer FoTL cosmetics to Srl . Sparrow racing isn't for me .
-
I didn't have to pay for the book :-S
-
Well, FotL was an exemplified version of last year's (MTs for everyone), so SRL will probably be the same in the sense as it's confirmed that we'll have more tracks, Sparrows, and something else that isn't racing as well. The MT's in SRL were still purely cosmetic.
-
I won't be playing srl
-
Did a race or 2 maybe last time and decided it was stupid. Never went back. Won't this time either.

Edited by PuRe Messoric: 11/18/2016 12:37:11 PMyeah, I was disappointed with FoTL this year but just because I got every mask I didn't want but not the one mask that I did want...

1 ReplyI don't doubt Bungie will pull the same crap with SRL that happened to FoTL this year. I'm expecting it, tbh. But that's what worries me. They should know by now that being honest with the players and not straight up lying is more productive than trying to grab everyone's money at once. Lying to us every time they turn their head to speak makes us trust them less. Not that most people don't already hate em. And in turn that equals less players which then comes out to Bungie earning less cash from those of us who do lots of microtransactions. Trust is a must. Without it, how can they hope that we will believe them when they say anything.
-
It was pointless last year so this one will be worse(Another Bungie recycling event). It's outrageous to release an in game event and charge for a record book. The cash grab is real. There seem to be people who enjoy SRL, and good for them. I'm not one of them. If I want to race, I play a racing game. It's not content I want in Destiny. That's just my opinion of course.

1 ReplyBy 'Destiny scratch tickets' Festival of the Cost? Yes... i am worried.. but you know, they 'listen to feedback' right? So everything will be better this time (gulp)
-
It will be another pointless event for microtransactions Let's just make money and line our pockets screw the players it's all about feeding them stupid guardians with lies and they still give us $$$$$$$
-
I'm pretty much expecting it to be like FOTL at this point.
-
Very worried about it being pay to maybe get some loot how difficult is to put the all the loot in end game reward loot pool then have the option to buy each piece of loot incase you don't get what you want through RNG
-
I'm not for one very simple reason. We have the OPTION to buy in game stuff, nobody is forcing us. Why should I worry about something that is in my control?
-
I don't worry for little things like that.
-
Yes 😟
-
It will!!! De$tin¥ $RL!
-
Worried???
-
1 ReplyI only played it to get the 320 loot. No reason to play it this time.
-
1 ReplyIs there a date for srl yet?
-
1 ReplyI played a heck of a lot of SRL when it was out never bought the book. For me the event was trying to beat the course records (Was top 10 on both maps) Stopped playing in the last week but I throughly enjoyed the racing aspect of it
-
Edited by Ve7n00m: 11/18/2016 9:50:47 AMOf course it will be! Why would you think otherwise SRL = Spend Real Life money!
-
A question guys: I've missed the last SRL, you guys had to pay to get all the grimoire cards?
-
Is there a date for srl yet?

3 RepliesI don't know why everyone hates on FOTL. I spent $0.00 on it and still enjoyed it. I intend to spend $0.00 on SRL but I bet I'll enjoy it
