Anyone else think that skeleton keys should also drop from Crucible matches? Im currently trying for a great PVE Imago Loop, but i cant force myself to grind strikes when, at this point, i enjoy Crucible much more.
Edit: Ive gotten a lot of comments against this idea because skeleton keys and chests are a "pve activity." I would say that isnt the whole story as the imago loop and grasp of malok can have amazing pvp rolls, but require those who really enjoy pvp to grind pve, then pray that their key gives them good rolls on the weapon they chose. Plus, why wouldnt anyone want to have the ability to get these rewards from any playlist instead of simply the mundane strike playlist?
If you are adamant about not wanting skeleton keys to drop for pvp as well as strikes, dont just leave something akin to "pve isnt pvp and they shouldnt mix." Let me know exactly why.
The way i see it, most of our gear comes from pve, at least for the average player, and drawing the line at skeleton keys just seems a bit wierd to me if we arent wanting pve and pvp to be 100% separate, including separate pvp weapons, armor, and perks.
Edit 2: For those against the idea, I would like you to tell me why, but first think what if instead of the chest being at the end of a strike, which is why it is considered a pve reward, the chest just popped in your inventory when it dropped and gave you a choice of either a weapon or armor piece, your choice. And if that system were only available from the strike playlist, tell me why you would be against its incorporation into the crucible.

4 RepliesNo because those are PVE rewards. You can already get up to 400 light drops in PVP. If you want PVE rewards play PVE.

3 RepliesHorrible idea. Skeleton keys are for pve

3 RepliesMaybe one guaranteed one on the first nightfall completion. Crucible though, not a good idea.

6 RepliesNo. they aren't a pvp item and can't be used during pvp.

Not a bad idea. I guess.
