Got anything worth noting? Any loadouts that was working well for you? Is the struggle real? Anywho, I'll try to recall what I've gotten during my climb to max rank: Purchased the rank 5 clever dragon. Did get a random one to drop, had awful perks. Got the branded lord fusion rifle from a bounty reward. Pretty darn good weapon I reckon. Used it for most of my IB matches. (Probably not the best archetype, but I had fun and that's what matters) Got a random silvered dread to drop with some nice perks. Didn't buy the vendor version as the one I got is almost identical. Lots of armor pieces, but I honestly don't care too much for it. (Unless the stats are higher than my current main's gear, they're dismantled) Also got the titanium orchid (IB rocket launcher) from a bounty reward. It's quite nice, and look forward to efrideet selling this beast in the near future. And once I finally finished that quest line from efrideet, (reached rank 5, didn't get enough play time last IB) my reward was the IB auto rifle with some pretty nice perks. And finally, the loadouts that worked well for me: Badger scout rifle that had third eye, explosive rounds, and triple tap. Secondary was for the most part, was that fusion rifle I mentioned earlier. Kept running out of ammo, so near the end, swapped to my trusty ironwreath sidearm and kept on trucking. (Looking forward to this year's sidearm, hope that it's just as good the ironwreath has been for me) Finally for heavy, I had the titanium orchid equipped, but since I have an amazing talent of dying just as heavy is about to spawn, I hardly ever got the chance to use it. Also I main warlock, and was either void with nothing manacles, or storm with impossible machines and NO AMPLITUDE PERK SELECTED (Felt that needed to be in caps, as the forums love to complain about the insane reach that this subclass has. And yeah, they're absolutely right. It's hella long, but I preferred the other two perks in that tree.) Wow I just realized how long this post is... my bad! Just wanted to share my overall experience with this edition of iron banner. Was a mostly positive experience, and while I have some minor gripes here and there, I still toughed it out and have gotten enough gear to help my warlock climb a few more light levels in the process. Final edit: I'm glad to have gotten so much feedback from the community on the latest edition of iron banner. I appreciated all the comments, and your honest opinions are much appreciated. I'll admit this much: the vendor clever dragon while it is nice, just doesn't feel that good compared to other pulse rifles I own. (Like my pdx 45 with full auto and near max stability for example. That is just beastly!) kinda bummed I didn't get more random drops, because some of y'all wound up getting amazing perk rolls! Also, the current weekly bounties while are nice, are just not the same compared to year two when lord Saladin ran things in iron banner. Bungie if you're reading this, you gotta know, the year two iron banner bounties are a better system than what lady efrideet offers. Anywho that's going to do it from me.
