No Rewards any more for hitting Ranks 3 & 5?
No rewards anymore for hitting Rank 3 and Rank 5?
Hit Rank 5 on all three of my toons and received nada from Lady Efrideet.

I think the 30+ 400LL clever dragon drops are sufficient enough

16 RepliesThe rank 3 pkgs used to be absolute trash and you got 1 item for rank 5 that was the same shit the vendor was selling 9/10 times. Now you get 2 guaranteed weapons and 2 guaranteed armor pieces for completing the 4 bounties. Not to mention that the rewards from the bounties are guaranteed to be different from the items being sold. We're getting 4x the rewards from the bounties but snowflakes like yourself still have to have something to bitch about. You ppl will never be happy no matter what Bungie does.

Drops are drastically increased compared to IB prior to RoI. Rank 3 and 5 packages aren't necessary any more.

You still get ranked 3 and 5 packages. Only if you never did iron banner last time. Lucky I have 2 profiles....

I really like the new system. No more mindless grinding for each Char. Although I did hit lvl 5 quickly on my toons anyways.

Though there is no incentive for rank 5 on your other characters now. There is also no reason for your alt characters to get x2 rank bonus anymore which is strange since we still get x2 rank bonus.

3 RepliesYeah I was pretty disappointed when I found out. The iron banner is pretty rewarding so it isn't a huge deal, but the extra rewards were nice.

They covered it in the update. The quest last banner was one time only. To introduce efrideet more so. The main intended rewards now are the end match rewards and 4 bounties which are very generous and more rewarding than most previous iterations of the banner anyway.

Do the math kiddo, You now have 4 guaranteed legendary drops that Efrideet isn't selling. Before it was only one with the potential to drop something Saladin was already selling.
