Well stated. I live in the UK and constantly get laggy games of Destiny. Iron banner being the worst.
I have 200 up and 12 down with Virgin media, and while they do throttle at peak times. I get laggy games at all hours. For every 10 games I play I get 1 good game. I am assuming the number of people in the UK playing Destiny has dropped a lot, as there are a lot of new games out. This game has the worst lag of any game I own, which is a shame as I too have spent many, many hours playing it.
My wife is sick of listening to me ranting at the TV. I think she is right, it is time to stop playing Destiny.
I can only hope Destiny 2 has dedicated servers and a complete rewrite of the net code. Because after 2 years, finding the connections getting worse is simply shocking. Trials of Osiris !!! 9 flawless games in a row. Bloody joke, I can on a good day get 6 or 7 games without loss. Before I get a really laggy game, playing people with red connections, who are taking no damage. Its no surprise people are lag switching to go flawless.
Such a shame, but that is me done, time to explore all the games I've missed, while playing Destiny. And maybe, just maybe, I will get my life back ;)

Fellow uk Virgin user here. I have the same problem. Basically giving up on Crucible because it feels like such a chore.

well I am in the uk and use a gaming router that only matches me with people within 2000km (uk and some of Europe) and I don't have any problems finding matches even at 2am Distance is not the issue as I also play against my fair share of red bars, I think main problem is people playing while other in house are watching netflix, amazon and the like, that really makes a huge difference to connection quality

Yup. This for me too.
