TL:DR, think about why primaries and some abilities are good/suck before you complain for buffs/nerfs.
You people get every single weapon type nerfed, then complain that they're now too weak and "deserve" a buff. This is why PvP is ruined and no wonder bungie struggles to balance this shit. These nerfs also affect PvE too.
Edit: Trending! :D

Crucible is now a friendly game of tag Have fun, guardians

102 RepliesThe problem is: Some things HAVE to be addressed. Example: Clever Dragon. That gun is more op than Thorn ever was. It kills faster, it has more range and more stability, it's easier to use. It definitely needs a stability or range nerf because it makes every other pulse archetype useless. And you cannot just buff all other pulse archetypes...that would break the game. When every weapon is perfect for ever range and situation, you could just remove all but one weapon, it would be the same shit. Every weapons has to have a downside. High RoF pulses should be crap for long ranges, same as High RoF Autos or High RoF Handcannons. The real questions are: 1. Why is Bungle putting such weapons in the game? Either it's done purposely or they're fullblown ret**ds. 2. Why are they unable to fix those problems the right way? Either it's done purposely or they're fullblown ret**ds. But please, stop hating on the community for wanting a balanced PvP experience. Some things just need to be fixed no matter what.

Let this game die. See you in Destiny 2. ;)

1 ReplyI hope they nerf high rof pulses to the -blam!-in ground . Prefer the exotic meta . Least we all had the same damn roll
-
Next is high caliber rounds on primaries.

Bungie go back to year one make every weapon strong i want the old bae Suros back

Best post I've seen in a long time. FFS Bungo you made crucible into a slow paced, shotgun filled, crappy rng simulator. We want a fast paced, evenly matched (weapon wise) game.

Respect Dedication Good job sir

2 RepliesYou know what's next? Clever Dragon - High Caliber Rounds Mark my words.

Lol I remember all of those, thanks for making this post. Made my day better

It's all PvP cry babies. More specifically, it's ToO nubs that cry the most.

People are complaining about Clever Dragon and what it nerfed but are also complaining about primaries not being strong enough, or complaining about secondaries. This is legitimately the dumbest community I have ever been apart of. The logic is literally pure shit ass trash garbage.

12 RepliesI'm a pve player and this is the most frustrating thing about this game.... Shitty pvp players crying for nerfs that affect pve play.

I've stopped running nightstalker in crucible because of the smoke nerf. I'm glad actually, I'm having a ton of fun with gunslinger. I forgot how good the most simplistic grenade is. I want to have an exotic that gives hunters a second incindary grenade.

Year 1 crucible was fast paced fun and unpredictable. The only underwhelming primaries were pulse rifles. All special weapons were in a good place. Shot package wasn't OP at the time because primaries killed fast enough to deal with shotgunners. All that was really needed was a slight need to thorn DOT so it wouldn't two shot, a fix for the ADS shots on The Last Word getting hip fire bonus damage, and a buff to pulses making them useful. This flavor of the month bullshit of balancing Bungie has is disgusting. Stop nerfing shit and start buffing to bring back the fast paced gameplay that used to make crucible fun.

2 RepliesRe-rolling guns in my opinion was amazing. Every one could get the best rolls so it's fair. Now you have people with god rolls that are clearly dominant that they got solely on rng.

What about all the stuff that we haven't got nerfed? The community asked for a very simple Thorn NERF in year one and we got: A nerf to high impact pulse rifles Another fusion rifle nerf A radical change to effective range that added the phenomenon known as ghost bullets, which effected all guns and led to a... Global nerf to the entire hand cannon weapon class. A change in the effectiveness of high fire rate vs impact, which further limited choices of auto, scout, and pulse rifles. There are even more to list but these are only in relation to what people were asking for in year one, vs what they actually got. But hey it's easier to digest that some whiny kid on the forms is to blame for everything... So go on, pander to the community, and keep giving feedback to people who have no influence over the game at all. It has been 100% consistent, that whether or not the community cries about something, and it has high usage numbers, Bungie is going to nerf it. I spent a considerable amount of time in year one warning people to diversify their load outs instead of constantly using the meta... But people only want to engage or play the game if they feel they have a perceived advantage. It is very rare that the things people complain about are overpowered... It's a herd mentality that is only augmented by streamers and YouTubers constantly talking about, and introducing media that informs players on what is the best weapon for the situation. I used to blame the community for being meta sheep but I have long since abandoned that point of view. All changes in the game, rest in the hands of Bungie. The biggest hypocrites are people like you. You tell people that they are whining about something in the game, when after three years you have STILL not accepted that the game is going to change, and ultimately whining because you cannot adapt. Your post does nothing, and gives no relevant feedback, instead, creates more division and toxicity within the community. Frankly, it makes me sick.

Jesus. So true. This post is spot on and it makes me sad/sick/angry.

1 ReplyYou missed the nerf to sparrows. I remember in year 1 you use to be able to shoot them a few times and they'd fly off, exploding like a fun little torpedo. Now they just sit on the ground and smolder :(

balancing is always hard. of course, bungie is reacting to the community and buff/nerf weapons/subclasses/armors but then... no testing phase or something like that. i mean how should they know how their nerf/buff works in practice? i mean a test time for 1-2 weeks would be great or you have monthly patches. so bungie can see how their patch works. if it's good it can stay, if it's bad it needs another patch or/and remove the patch. thats the second problem....bungie's reaction time is to long. often you have the same problems over month's and nothing happens....no statement, no patch, not anything. i wish bungie would a little bit more communicate with their community (so ironic :D)

20 RepliesLol someone doesn't remember the old meta. I wish they had a mode where you can play with OG everything and see how much fun you have.

wow, when you step back and look at all them, all you can think is "wow, this is such a great community"!
